I didn't hate her. It was so difficult for her to elicit an actual emotional reaction.

We say, well she got cooler. But first impressions are hard to overcome. She was two dimensional, I think, because she served as a stand-in for fangirls. Flitting about, making expository comments, etc. This is something I guess Kishimoto would later regret, seeing as how fangirls prefer Naruto and Sasuke together.

As for why she was flat, it wasn't because she had no special abilities or back story, because there is merit in that as well. But slice-of-life stories tend to paint much better portraits of the hardships of characters doomed to be in the background.

Sakura might as well have been in the background. She had no purpose in the story, and her insecurity is seldom touched upon. It made an interesting impact when it was, though, when she realized she had just been complaining and relying on her teammates.

But we dislike her because her teammates didn't mind that. They liked her, counted her among their precious persons for no discernible reason. We loved Naruto and Sasuke, and Sakura did not deserve their affection. Feelings like this are hard to rationalize, but there it is.

And anyway, her interactions with them were initially limited to nagging on Naruto and fawning over Sasuke, and generally achieving no chemistry at that, if only comedic effect. That's what she was, in the beginning, not a character in her own right, but a plot device.

I never really hated Sakura until I thought she liked Naruto. I can't stand fickle characters.

"Hate" is what I use to do, but now, I sort of just ignore her because she seems absolutely useless. I mean for most of the series, all she does is whine about saving Sasuke even though he betrayed her and the village. She ignores Naruto's feelings for her for like 90% of the series so far, then all of a sudden starts noticing him. But the thing that got me was when she had the gonads to lie and say "I love you" to Naruto when she doesn't even truly feel it. She just lost all values as a character after that point.

I actually really like Sakura! ... Which is strange, because I feel that there are too many Ryu fanboys and Sakura is the queen of Ryu fangirls. But, really, you got to have respect for her natural talent at learning Shotokan simply from observing Ryu and some lessons from DAN HIBIKI of all people. If she had the same length of training as Ryu and Ken under Gouken, she would probably be as strong as Akuma...

Trolling aside, I am pissed off with Sakura because I feel that Hinata is really dedicated to Naruto and she pretty much deserves getting him as her happy ending. The fact that Sakura gets to get romantic ties with Sasuke and Naruto therefore seriously pisses me off.

I also wonder about the power level of Naruto+Hinata's child. Hokage bloodline, Jinchuriki, and Byakugan? Kickass!

I will list u some of the reasons y nobody likes Sakura:
1)She is useless and has only won like one fight in the entire series, yet shes a main character.
2)She is obsessed with Sasuke, even though he went evil three years and has tried to kill her more than once.
3)She ignores Naruto love for her, because she loves Sasuke and at one point even tries to manipulate it (see how it ties into reason #2).
4)She is soooooooooo damn depressing when she is not beating the crap out of Naruto.
5)She beats the crap out of Naruto all the time for no good reason, though there is a reason (although its just comic relief).
6)When it comes to Naruto's love interests Sakura just fails soooooo damn hard when viewed next to Hinata, who is so dedicated to Naruto.

These are only some of the reasons, trust me there are more.

Actually Sakura has no romantic ties with Sasuke or Naruto. It is one sided like all the other young characters in Naruto. But right now the closest pair to becoming a couple are Naruto and Sakura because Naruto already has a one sided love for Sakura and Sakura is growing up realizing Naruto's good points and now leaning towards Naruto and on top of that she was almost killed by Sasuke if it wasn't for Kakashi and Naruto. Hinata's affections for Naruto are still one sided.

I actually liked her more in part 1, especially before she cut her hair. She was cute and girly back then, but in part 2, she only needed to show some muscles in order to appear on WWE Smack Down.

You're question is going to take hours to type because the list of reasons why I hate Sakura is just that long (BTW none of my reasons have to do with her appearance, that happens to be the ONE thing I like about her. That and only that.), so I'm not going to because I don't have the patience, the time, or the temperament. I'm already getting angry just thinking about her.

Although I will say one thing. Sakura has BARELY CHANGED AT ALL since before the time skip. The only differences are that she is taller, slightly larger breasts, she can punch a million times harder now, and...that's actually all I can think of, really.

True she is a little less Sasuke-crazed as she was in the beginning, but the fact that she is Sasuke-crazed AT ALL after all the shit he's done (one of these things being trying to kill her at least once, if not more) is a SERIOUS PROBLEM!!!!! Aw great, now you got me going and I'm upset. So now I'm gonna give some of the big issues I have with her, in no particular order because these will be just the first ones that come to mind:
1) She is whiny and a terrible bitch, not even a tsundere, because one moment of dere for every thousand moments of tsun is not tsundere it just means that she does possess a soul.

2) She is UNBELIEVABLY ungrateful to Naruto for ALL OF THE SHIT HE HAS DONE FOR HER!!! And before anybody says that she actually is grateful, I would like to say that thinking to yourself that you are SUUUUPEER DUPER grateful for everything is not enough. She should try verbalizing it to Naruto EVERY time he does something for her, not just everytime he does ten things for her. Seriously, Naruto, for some stupid and incomprehensible reason, loves her and would LITERALLY be willing to do, and has done, ANYTHING she could possibly ask for and she returns the favor, EVERY SINGLE TIME, by beating the living hell out him EVERY CHANCE SHE GETS. But still Naruto would do anything to make her happy and yet still she remains in love with Sasuke, who tried to kill her, and Naruto remains in love with her, who's just an unbearable bitch.

3) She's horribly incosiderate and self-centered! She doesn't show this too often unless Sasuke is brought up (which I will get into later, I promise) so I never really cared about it much. But in the recent Road to Ninja movie she went too far. She called Naruto out, in the middle of the night mind you, because she was angry at her parents for caring about her SO GODDAMN MUCH!! She lured him out under the disguise of asking him out on a date and then proceeded to sit down at the next location to bitch to Naruto all about how overbearing her parents are and how annoying they are and BITCH, BITCH, BITCH to Naruto!!!! The guy who's parents DIED ON THE DAY HE WAS BORN!!!!
And as if complaining to a guy with no parents about how much her parents loved her wasn't enough, she also went out of her way to ignore the problem, a much bigger problem by the way, that Naruto was dealing with at the moment as well. And then when Naruto told Sakura that she should try to be more grateful to her parents and that they love her (or something along those lines), that bitch Sakura (instead of realizing that Naruto was actually saying "AT LEAST THEY ARE STILL ALIVE!") had the nerve to get mad at him and start yelling at him! I honestly started shouting at my screen for her to go jump in a lake and drown.

4) Another reason why she's awful is because she's horribly useless. At first it was just because she was weak and that was why she ALWAYS had to be saved by Naruto and/or Sasuke. But now, in Shippuuden, she has still only ever beaten ONE enemy, Sasori, not counting the fillers at least. And this part, see this just makes no sense to me, because she is STRONG, even I acknowledge that despite my hatred for her, but she just NEVER fights, ever. I get that she's training to become a medical ninja so fighting isn't really required but ALL OF HER DETERMINATION WAS BASED OFF A DESIRE TO CATCH UP TO NARUTO AND SASUKE!!! How can she do that if she never fights!? Although, in the recent chapters she finally starts fighting. Too bad it's in the midst final battles of the series though!!!!!

5) Sakura is just the stupidest person in the entire series. I know that she's is actually very intelligent and gets the highest grades and all that. But when I say stupid, I mean that EVERY SINGLE DECISION SHE MAKES has no logical reasoning behind (or worse she backs out for an unbelievable stupid reason, like what happened during a "certain" assassination attempt), makes no sense, and will only manage to makes things worse in the end, if she actually made the effort to think about it. For example, her decision to "assassinate" Sasuke despite Naruto's desperate attempts to save him and then backs out at the last second because she still loves that crazed serial killer (and again, I will get into that later). Or her decision to MANIPULATE Naruto's feelings for her because she knows, deep down, that it is for the best. News flash, Sakura, manipulating somebody with their strongest emotions is NEVER a good idea. It's only ever wrong.

5) SHE STILL LOVES SASUKE. See, in Part 1 I was already bothered that ANYBODY liked Sasuke because he was always a self-centered douche who never actually had any attractive traits besides his looks and skills. Yet EVERY SINGLE GENERIC GIRL, along with Sakura and Ino fell in love with Sasuke because he was cool and, after being annoyed at first, I learned to accept it. Then Sasuke betrayed the village and Sakura was STILL in love with him and, again, at first, I was VERY annoyed but I realized she probably needed time to get over it. Then came the time skip, and three years later Sakura STILL loves the self-righteous dumbass Sasuke. And I was REALLY PISSED OFF at Sakura at this point but it didn't come up TOO often so I just ignored it for a while. And then Sasuke became a fugitive and a murderer and Sakura STILL loved him. Then she realized HOW FUCKING STUPID SHE ACTUALLY WAS and decided that she didn't love Sasuke anymore, so she tried to manipulate Naruto's love for her into convincing him to stop trying to save Sasuke, which also is horribly fucked up, but for different reasons. Then when she couldn't TRICK Naruto into giving up, she resolved all of her determination into killing Sasuke herself and, for the very first time, I respected Sakura (although, all of the negative respect she has built up over the years cancelled that respect out instantly and by about ten million times over, not to mention, that I still hated her). Then, she epicly disappointed me because right when she was about to kill Sasuke (and she REALLY was about to succeed) she hesitated because, you guessed it, she STILL LOVED MOTHERFUCKING SASUKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then Sasuke tried to murder her but, unfortunately she got saved by Kakashi (I think. I try to block out that series of events, way too disappointing. It may have been Naruto.) and she STILL LOVED SASUKE! After a motherfucking attempt on her life, she still fucking loved him. I just can't stand her.

That's all I'm gonna say right now, but trust me my list goes on longer. I still have a few more things to say though:
First of all, to all of you people who say that the fans who hate Sakura have no basis for their hatred, just read this post and EAT IT. Undeniable proof that Sakura is awful.
Second of all, CAPSLOCK IS MY BEST FRIEND.
Third of all, Hinata is the greatest (living) character in the entire Naruto series (I have the obligation to say "in my opinion," so yeah, I guess it's technically just my opinion). And don't try to question me because I got a list for that one too.
Fourth of all, I am confident that there is no person who hates Sakura as much as I do because I hate Sakura so DAMN MUCH that that hatred has literally begun to overflow into my feelings for Naruto.
Fifth of all, thank you all for reading my rant. It took about an hour to write so please be grateful for it. Please excuse me, while I go find some aspirin to deal with the headache caused by the rage building up inside my head from thinking about Sakura so much.

I dont think people hate sakura, they just hate how kishi doesnt do things like they want to. And complain about it, in many cases is about sasuke in others about sakura. They cant understand the autor does what he wants with his work. Fun thing is that he does it that way because he can piss people out and get weird attention.

In the beginning, I couldn't stand her, because she was pretty mean towards Naruto, and kind of adored Sasuke. Later when she was trained by Tsunade I liked her for maybe 20 episodes, but it pissed me off, that she was so focused to find Sasuke (the guy, I hate the most), that I started to despise her again ...

That is exactly why I hate her. She treats naruto like crap the entire time and tells him to bring sasuke back, even though he has betrayed their village and comrades.
