Shoujo art style is usually unappealing to me. Some shoujo manga tends to have art well enough for me to enjoy, but some has really unappealing style to it.

and don't get me started on yaoi/shounen-ai. being a heterosexual guy, it's not really for me anyway, but I would definitely read more if the artwork didn't turn me off as much.

agreed. older art was much more elegant, expressive and versatile than modern art. it seems that the majority of seinen manga and most manga published before 2000 have more realism in terms of body proportions, shading and faces than modern shoujo, josei and shounen art, but anyway art doesn't really bother me, at least not enough to drop a manga.

Should've added a "don't care about art that much" option. because for me and other people if the story is good, i don't really care about the art at all. If the story is meh, then art doesn't really matter either >_> (the "Nothing bothers me" option is not really a good choice of words)
Also there's a lot of mangas that have bad art especially to help the story, and because of it it's funny, even though there's a lot of the stuff that bothers people usually(big head, disproportionate limbs, weird expresions), for exemple the author of Ningen Kyouki Katsuo, HAMORI Takashi has that kind of art specifically. And you can't say you hate the expresions/disproportionate limbs/big head etc, in 1 manga, and like it in another in this poll.
