Months later and I still get horribly frustrated thinking about this. I've completely boycotted HorribleSubs because of it and now it looks like UTW is going away after this season. I guess I'm going to have to learn Japanese sooner rather than later.

Tried using madokami didn't really like it, maybe will get better later. Lately been going to starkana.com though. They don't offer the full volume releases like mangatraders did, but can download chapters individually and they keep pretty up to date on the series they have..

I use a mixture of Madokami for old manga and an online-reader downloader, called Fmd, to get things from Batoto and Scanlations that don't have direct downloads, combined with MU, I must say I don't have a problem keeping up with new manga or fully scanlated ones.

Well there is currently a back up with all the manga running, it was made by /a/ (assuming people know what that is here), but I don't think It's my place to share it with people, they are kind of a bunch of elitist circle jerks, but they did made the web, so I won't be the be the one betraying their trust.

http://manga.madokami.com/Manga/

That's the link, it's blocked with a pass, if you can figure it out you got all the manga that you want there. (this much is enough to be hated quite a bit by the guys that worked on the page, but whatever)

Just don't make threads asking for it.

For people who still hasn't figure it out how to get the manga from here the web site above, you 1st have to log-in to an IRC and go to their IRC address: madokami@Rizon
and register their. once done, you can log-in on that site above.

I'm really really sad about the MT hacking thing. Is there any website providing ALL the compromised accounts? Not all were obtained, right? I just hope mine wasn't.
What's this "madokimi" or was it "madokami" thing I'm hearing about? Is it like MT? Do they have at least 2012-2013 published manga? mad mad mad mad please come back, MT! Or at the least, something similar then.

No, I believe MadoKami is the name of a file-sharing server you can access using a FTP program (eg. Filezilla). But I think most of the stuff on there are older series that have already been completely scanlated.

contact me about info regarding madokami if you're confused. i was also confused so i'm open to helping people but i will not publicly post about it.

EDIT: its not extremely out of date. its only behind by a few months(like 3-6). anything you cant find there that is newer can be found at the translators sites so its fine.

this is true for a lot of the content but on some lesser known titles there is a lack of some of the newer updates. the ones which aren't as up to date just haven't been added yet due to a lack of priority.

~~~I can tell you with absolute certainty that anything that gets uploaded to Batoto, Mangajoy, and a number of other sites will be up on MadoKami within 8 hours, generally less (~1 hour for MangaJoy and Batoto).
I know this because I run a system that uploads them automatically. They're there.~~~
Correction - It's been crashing for a bit. Whoops. Fixing.
again, this is true for most titles. the lesser known titles however do not get updated as frequently. take crimson spell for example: there are currently 42 scanlated chapters in existence and yet the most recent upload for it is only chapter 38.5, not to mention that they are all mislabeled and it was labeled as chapter 35b. this is only 1 example of a smaller title being not updated but if i searched hard enough i could probably find a dozen or more.
