Quote from bbobjs
On letting people enjoy their choices: No, **** that. If people like bad things you MUST give them **** for it, otherwise how will they learn? Most people are far to inept to realize they have bad taste and you need to nip their poor choices in the bud before they spread. Often the reason people like bad things is because that's all they know; if there is no one to tell them they like crap, that's all they'll ever know and that's all they'll spread to others. It is your moral responsibility to make sure people feel at least twice as bad as they should for liking the wrong things.
Anyone can like anything. If some likes killing people, as long as they don't do it, then they are not doing anything wrong. Liking something, and doing something are completely different things.
Now, were talking about manga here, something that people usually read in the comfort of their own solitude, and usually discuss things about it with people who read the same manga or close to it, (if they read manga at all.) I don't see how someone's
manga choice gives way to moral discussion about bad choices. Manga is world ruled by opinion. Whoever delegates what a good decision and a bad decision is, is the individual that reads the manga.
Now if you want to get into some real moral discussion on choices, I think it would be wise to make a new topic.
