You are obviously misinformed. Doki Doki didn't just scanlate Yaoi. They also did Shoujo, Hentai, Yuri, Seinen, and Josei.

First Forever More, now DokiDoki ( I don't know what happened to Huuchami, but I hope they're still alive)
Why is this happening? x(

Well, other than the yaoi goodness you have showered us with, I am also VERY greateful for the old shojo and josei manga you have given us. [m]Death, She and I[/m] was so awesome. I wish we could find more shojo manga like that.

Thank you for everything! Honestly, you guys were one of my first yaoi scanlations groups I had discovered. And you did a very amazing job. Dokidoki also had some really interesting stories. I wish you the best of luck wherever you go.

VERY true. And they did an a great job in bringing new un-cliched titles (especially in the shojo dep.)

I believe time is the most important issue here, especially for people working full-time. Manga is one of my oasis, but now I'm starting to feel them as a burden (no time to read).
Maybe someone can start a topic regarding this issue in the forum.

"LHC"? What association is that? Something that's the opposite of GLAAD (Gay Lesbian and um, [something-something]) ?

Well there are are also groups that are just going off the radar or disappearing, such as the group's site becoming dead, such as Be with You Scans and Selene Scans. I did get to talk to Selene (assuming no one was pretending to be her) before the URL became a spam-search-engine site, and since she was finished something like her doctorate and the translator has disappeared for this project that was 2 chapters from completion, she mentioned in the chatbox that the next release would be probably the group's last. Although there was no last release before the URL went down. sad
