My real name is Jonathan.
But I hated it since when someone calls me like that, I found it "formal".

I rather to be call Jed, its my shortened full-name. bigrazz

Woot. Another Jonathan. And yeah, it does seem pretty formal (come on, 3 syllables?).

Is Jed your initials or something?

My name's Josip.

Still haven't met any non croatian that can pronounce it right off the bat, the Germans are especially bad at pronouncing it, while the Americans mispell it in 9/10 cases biggrin

I wish I had a simpler name, so everybody in the world could pronounce it bigrazz

My real name is Kristian.

although i prefer the shortened version Kris, so does most of my friends too since saying it non-shortened is a strain.

my name is Ragnhild roll
have fun (mis)pronouncing it laugh

Are you from Norway perhaps?

yup! you are right laugh

you have a beautiful name ^^, it would be a shame to mispronounce it, so how exactly is it pronounced? biggrin

@katsu: consider me another norwegian friend laugh

@azuka: okay. first you need to roll your r's. the a is pronounced the same as in "bath". gn is pretty close to english. the i is pronounced as english e as in "free", and the l sound is pretty close to english as well(well its hard to explain laugh ) the H and D is silent.
thats my quick intro to pronouncing Ragnhild laugh
but since your belgian, i don't know if you'll get it roll no

So a phonetic spelling would be something like: Rra-gn-eel?
