oh, I always wonder how left-handed people write from left to right and keep their hands clean. All the pencil marks are smudged!

Normally I don't have a problem with that. However, if I'm writing something for an extended period of time, then I'll start to smudge my letters and my hand gets lead/ink on it.

that sucks, lol. never thought of it that way.

has any left handed person tried writing english from right to left? is it easier?

how do you write English from right to left? So, the words are right to left? Or the letters are right to left? LOL Both are hard to read biggrin

It isn't hard writing from the right to the left, I always do the letters the same when I right that way. It's not hard to read, either. Oh, and normally don't smudge my writing, either (leftie).

Really? It seems like ink would be worse. Ever try holding your hand slightly above the paper?

I'm a lefty, too, but I'm really happy about it, because it's fun to do things a little differently. Hehe, when I write, though, I always end up smearing it when my hand goes over it. And I get lines on my hand when I try to right in spiral notebooks...

A fact: Since a lot of dangerous machinery is made for right-handed people, it can pose problems for lefties.

An Interesting fact: But left-handed people are better at reading awkward lettering, for instance, reading backwards, or upside-down. (I read that in a book about lefties that I saw at Border's.)

One more interesting fact: Ambidexterous is a biased word. It literally means "two right hands", implying that you are able to write with both hands as if you have two right ones. The part of ambidexterous that refers to right hands is also in words such as dexterity, which refers to ease and skill with something. In contrast, the Italian word for left-handed, sinistra, takes its roots from the word for "evil".

LOL, I found those somewhere and thought they were cool. If you look up "Left-handed" on Wikipedia, there are some cool things.

Ah... I'll be quiet now...

Products for left-handed people. Even golf equipment eek

Yep, they have evil hands. One of my left-handed teachers almost killed me once, but then he was like "So sorry, N! My hand slipped! U ok??"
Bollocks.
