God is a generic entetity. It exists in all of us, and we all have our own god or bliss to follow.

personaly, i dont really belive in a "god", but i am not denying that it could exist, i just have no reason to belive
plus, out of everything i've researched about it, everything is pretty much scientificly explanable
plus, the way i see it, you only got the life you are living for the time being, stop damn worrying about the afterlife and live it the way you want to, not the way some old book tells you

meh
it works for some, and doesent for others.

i dont know, personaly
but like i said, i live my life not worring about the afterlife and worring about the current life, i could really care less what happens when i die.
couse....i'll be dead?

hahaha
if its heaven or hell, oh well, i lived how i want, now i gotta accept the afterlife from it
if its reincarnation, thats cool too, another shot at life
if its nothing...
oh well, i'm dead, what else can i do?
lol
like i said, whatever happens, happens.

I like your way of thinking

@ladyviollet: so do you believe that people have souls?

fallofkakashi's. Though I don't necessarily believe in what he's saying, i like his way of thinking better than yours, ladyviollet.

I don't believe in some absolute, perfect, all-knowing, all-loving god(s). Perhaps there really is some powerful entity or entities that had created the Universe, but I don't think they would create it to receive worship and all that... more likely it was an accident or an experiment where we're all really just data to them.

I'm not positive whether or not I am an atheist anymore (so I guess I'm agnostic now), but I am 100% certain that there is no "God" in the Christian sense. Considering the vast amount of evidence that directly contradicts the Bible, I am certain that is an impossibility. I find religion fascinating because (in the vast majority of cases) things are completely fictional and an overwhelming number of humans accept those fictional things as "fact". It just further proves that facts themselves are subjective for people, because no matter how much we argue, people will still believe whatever they want to.

Relating to death, I personally don't think that much can happen afterwards. The things people have experienced after being clinically dead and subsequently recovering can all be explained scientifically, so it seems likely to me that you do, in fact, just rot in the ground, burn up, or suffer the status of whatever method is used to deal with your remains.
