I always call them by their First Names,

And I do that for the same reason they call me by my first name and not "son",
because even though I may be their son I have a name.

I call my mother "mami", "mamá" or "ma". As for my father, it's almost the same, "papi", "papá" or "pa". When mom doesn't answer, I use her first name. As for dad, well, I can't do that since my father and my brother have the same name and get confused. laugh

I call them by their first names. I feel kind of weird if I call them mother or father. ^_^

I call the mom, dad, mommy, daddy, madre, padre, even though I'm not Hispanic....
Strangely though, I call my paternal grandparent by their first names. Some of my family don't like it, but I've done it since I was very little. I can't change my habits! I used to call my maternal grandparents mom and dad, but now it's regular grandma and grandpa.

I call my parents by their first names, always have for as long as I can remember.

No one else just uses first names? confused

When talking to other non family people about them, I will use their first names but in person to them I always go Mom and Dad..they were pretty strict about it growing up, they consider a sign of disrespect if a child calls the parents by their first names

Remember when I was younger and played pop warner football, my dad who was a coach on the team made a kid run 5 laps around the field for calling his parents by their first name with logic behind it that in their house they could do whatever they wanted but on his field it's either "sir,ma'am/ dad, mom"

Mother - Mother dearest (because I can) or Mom
Father is Daddy
Stepmother - psycho b***h. When she's not around of course, I value my life laugh

My older sister calls my mom "mother dearest" some times too. ^_^
Lol everyone hates there step parents. (I can understand why) I find it funny. But if I had a step parent I'd totally give them hell... to their face!!

I just call my parents mom and dad. I don't don't call them by their first name, and I find people that do that to be weird. eek

step moms can be B%$^hs. Imagine this....When i was 4-5, i won't lie...I used to wet my bed.
Guess how my step mom stoped me? Only took her 2 tries mind you. (permenant damege)

If i wet the bed, she would wake me up 5 in the morning, strip me naked and chuck (literally) me in a bath of cold water and bath me wilst i was shivering like a dog whilst in blisted pain. Can you imagine your body burning from the cold?. (Only took two times for me to stop.)She never did that to her own kid. GOD FORBID.
Step moms are all bitches! laugh Damn straight.

While yours is indeed quite terrible, mine isn't. D:

And on topic, I call my step-mom by her name. She's a nice cheerful lady. (:

Mama & Baba (mum & dad in chinese). Though I realise that sounds sorta gay (babies call their mum 'mama') so I sometimes say: Ma & Ba (still pretty gay though)...

I refer to my mom as... mom, mother, maman, ooor (teasingly) mommy.

My dad is pretty much.. "Dad" or.. expletives. Usually the latter. XD

I call them using the Viet words for mom and dad.

When I talk about my dad to my bro or mom, then I'll say Papa (Cuz it's like a ref to one of my fave animes).

When I talk about my mom to dad or bro, then I just call her Mom.

...Calling them by their first names would be...so weird...
