True, mostly I was just too lazy to get up and buy food from the caf (half way across campus from my room).

Counting calories isn't enough, try to eat a balanced diet, ex. eating fried chicken for breakfast, lunch and dinner to make up 1500 calories a day quota, yeah NO. lol

You'll lose a lot more weight once you move off campus, cause when your hungry, you don't have the money to eat.

:/ they will lose weight but that's so gross. suggest to them to eat veggies as well and if eating meat eat lean meat/fish. and make sure to exercise otherwise she'll gain it back once she goes off it. Healthy eating/lifestyle is better than diets seriously.

I have been thinking doing the master cleanse diet. I seriously do need to do a cleanse but I'm lazy. Actually I'm going to cut out breads and cakes. Upgrade fruits/veggies, and keep grains, protein, dairy to a minimum.
uhh people need to stop baking in my house, it's my downfall D:

Bump

The start of summer I was 130 lbs but by the end I went back to my snug of 123 smile

I just drank two cups herbal tea or Green (are they the same? XD) a day and just moved around after eating. While I watched my anime, I jogged in place instead of sitting.

But, now because school started, I'm gaining little by little because I get so hungry once I get home XD

Lose more calories than you eat.
'nuff said. There is a set amount of calories you burn for being alive and functioning in a day, look it up and eat less than that.

wow u beat me. i don't need diets either im actually trying to gain weight! >< i lost 10 lbs over the summer and i wasnt even trying so it came to me as a shock. luckily i gained most of them back ^_^

One could try keepin off of fried stuff and sweet stuff and sweetener in beverages..jogging and cycling do wonders...swimming helps to tone up figure..taking the stairs instead of lifts and make sure you can keep close to healthy stuff, lots of water and fruits..hard in a hectic life but make sure you dont starve to loose the pounds otherwise you will get them back sooner than it may take to loose them...

This.

Except the set level that everyone burns in order to stay alive varies between people, and even day to day for each individual. Hence why some people seem to stay skinny no matter how much they eat.

Also, some people happen to be better at processing fattier foods, despite the higher calories they would normally receive by eating them.

Getting 7-8 hours of sleep a day can also drastically increase your burning rate. Anything less or more can hamper it.

Etc etc etc...

Oh, and you have to be careful when reading boxes that tell you the number of servings in something. I've taken to weighing/measuring new foods until I figure out what a real serving size is. (I find cereal to be a major culprit of their false measurements... 11 servings in the box my ass!)

I just eat more salads and the only meat I eat is chicken or fish. I have a friend who has diets consisting of soup alone :S

No animal products whatsoever, humans can't process them right (not trying to pick a fight, just laying down the facts). Honey doesn't hurt, but bees have this mass suicide thing going on that could lead to the possible destruction of the human race, so I would reccommend avoiding it (seriously).

Just eat lots of vegetables, fruits, and RAW nuts (salted/oiled/sugared nuts can drive a hole through your intestine O_O). Water, too. Avoid heating your food at all if possible. smile Eat just when hungry, so you know your stomach is ready for more food, then stop eating when you're satisfied. Sounds easy, but takes determination for some.

There are also such things as juice and water fasts out there, but only take them knowingly. Never use them as a quick fix, they shouldn't be taken lightly. Fasts are meant for cleansing purposes. eyes

stress.
When I get stressed I can't consume much food without getting sick.
I tend to live off of vitamin pills and such during those times.
Which obviously means I lose some sort of weight.
