Here's a question: why is it that the food that tastes the best are always the most fattening? Can't celery be the one with 1000 calories? I hate that.

That's a little subjective, since different people have different tastes. But, in general, the reason is probably due to the fact that certain food contain lower sugar contents than others, and sugar is something that generally makes food taste better (even if it's not something sweet). But, sugar is also a high source of energy for the body, which when unused, gets stored as fat.

Did you guys had a week of sport games in your elementary schools? If yes in what game were you good in?

We used to have something like that called "Track and Field". It was used to choose athletes in our school to represent us in a city wide competition... and maybe more. I guess I was good at sprints and running long jumps.

Oooh, I love those! Just elementary? We had those up till high school.

I'm not really athletic. I'm usually in some sort of committee or cheering. There was a time I signed up for softball and basketball for extra credits because they were short on people. laugh

For some reason, there were no cheerleaders in my elementary and middle schools, and they stopped having a cheerleading team a little before I entered highschool =/

I think it's just because guys nowadays are afraid of touching other guys, because they would be called gay for that, which is often looked down upon these days. It's strange since girls can hug girls and it's all good. They can also say they love each other as friends, love guys as friends, but when a guy says they love someone, it usually gets interpreted as romantic love rather than platonic -.-;;
I wonder why that is?

I was good on running, I used to participate of 100m, 500m, 300 with obstacles and basketball. I did not participated of the tug of war since I was shorter than anyone else, but I did participated of war of dodge ball and somewhat of a king of the hill, we used to go up in a smal stage 3 of each class and the objective was take the ones from the other class out of the stage and into the mud laugh I am proud to say I neve fell of the stage.

Why do guys think they can't understand girls and vice-versa?

I understand you, Shattered.. eyes

I know, honey. smile And you always attempt to.

But aren't girls normally the emotional ones?

Quote
Guys aren't less emotional than girls.. They're just less developed in that department, so they don't know how to deal with it.. You can say that women are emotionally a lot more developed than men.. in general..

With developed I mean, that they don't ignore their feelings, and usually be open with it.. Though I'm not saying that women aren't sometimes confused about their feelings.. But at least they're trying to understand them.. Instead of men, who would just ignore them and make an objective choice..

That's what I meant, they're more open and accepting.
Quote
Okay, why do guys think girls can interpret their actions?

Quote
I would say that girls do that more often, but I can't be sure..

P.S.: This is just a generalization.. Doesn't apply to everybody..

The way we act makes sense to us, we expect them to understand as well.

Mams, you are the enigma. You are beyond our comprehension.

ew! no! You're suppose to let it heal completely... and let it come off by itself... so if you peel it, wouldn't it get worse D=

I don't even look at it dead I once had a door slam on the side of my finger (so some chunk of skin came off),.... ew..!! (and ouch..)
