When I was a little girl I wanted to be a boy cause all of my playmates are boys.
Then when I started going to school I dreamed about being a doctor.
After that I wanted to be an archeologist.
In high school I wrote in my career form that I wanted to be a scientist..
But in the end I became a nurse. Its not my ultimate dream but I'm slowly appreciating and loving this profession..

I wanted to be a hairstylist! But that was when I was really young.
Then it was an archeologist and an astronomer, but there are no jobs for people in this line of work in my country, so I gave up on it in the end.

Now I'm studying to be a translator and it's something I really wanna do smile (though before I made up my mind I also wondered about taking up computer science)

Scientist, Inventor.

I currently major in Computer Administration, computer design and construction.

I get occasional science, inventing... I guess I still really love science but became more philosophical in nature as science became much more 'Hobson-Jobsoned' into "someone who can and must invariably prove via meticulous means that something can or can't be disapproved, and lastly matter matters most." eyes

Janitor. Lol. I so wanted to try the floor polisher.
Spy. It's so cool.
Doctor. To save lives.
Lawyer. I can't remember why.
Singer. Actress. For the fame and glamorous life.
Superhero. For the powers.
Teacher. So I get to choose who to call for recitation.

And many more!

In my early childhood I wanted to be a lawyer, an engineer, a soldier (yep, I wanted to be part of the army) and a pilot.
I don't know why by during my teens, I wanted to be a world dictator...

Lol. Sadly, neither of the things I wanted to be I will accomplish since I'm majoring in English (education) and minoring in international commerce.
I never expected to end up as a teacher or a economist. :/

Never had one.
I just wander aimlessly without any dream job. I would answer "I want to be a doctor!" when asked by teacher/ parents, but that simply because they wouldn't accept "I don't have any" for an answer.

By any chance do you practise Islam? most of my friends who are Islamic face the same problems. I know one guy who has taken a vow to pray on Thursdays. So he doesn't do anything else on that day; doesn't even attend important examinations.. Not to mention that I can hear the prayers from the mosqu ...

Nope, Buddhism. My whole family. -sigh- Pretty much been brainwashed since I knew things. You'd laugh at how my parents preach just about everything is thanks to Buddha.

Woooah, didnā€˜t know that Buddhism was pretty hardcore, I thought that they never did anything other than having a Buddha monument inside the house or somethin...

Iā€˜m Christian btw, or was, dunno...

Buddhism is supposed to be the middle path, right?? Not as strict as Jainism, which was prevalent during that time. Never expected it to be so strict. Guess, some religions tend to evolve over time.

Nothing special. I just want to be a better person. And I want to have a happy family. But seriously? Hmm. I want to be a psychologist. Or a computer engineer. Or a nutritionist.

I used to dream about being a criminologist too. And an interior designer.

Well, middle path as in no self-torture? Yea, middle path. Middle path as in an easy life? No way. It's only middle path when compared to those other religions in India that practice penance.

But it does have different levels, it's just that I was stupid enough to follow my aunt, and that was the end of my luck. It's easy if you don't get all those rules stamped over you, after all, for most parts you get to choose. I was pretty much a snot-nosed brat, so I didn't know any better... but so long as you don't have parents brainwashing you, it's not all that bad.
