One time I went over to a friend's house. And one of her much younger little siblings asked if I was their new daddy. It was kinda weird because the mom wasn't very attractive in my opinion and I was only 16 at the time... Plus i had a crush on their sister at the time... That made thinga a bit awkward.

I have like the opposite of a "mistaken lovers" story. Two of my friends (who look nothing alike) were shopping in Wal-Mart and holding hands (theyd been going out for years by the time I'd met them). This little old lady walked up to them and started talking about how nice it was to see a brother and sister get along so well even though they were all grown up. But they were laughing when they told me, so I guess they didn't take it too hard.

Yeah, A couple years back I was messing around with one of my cousins at the mall (A major thumb war that decided who would pay for lunch)
And this old lady came up to us and commented on how
"Nice it is to see such a cute couple!"
I was about 14 at the time and my cousin was 26
i nearly peed myself I laughed so hard...

Haha, yeah. That is not so bad though, my neighbor who was 19 at the time this happened was out shopping with her dad, who looks pretty young for his age I guess. This old lady stopped them in a store and said how cute of a couple they were laugh . My neighbor told me about it later and was really embarrassed at how she looked like she was dating her own dad haha.

I mean her dad was one of those leather wearing, biker guys who has some crazy piercings and stuff, so I guess it is more understandable that it looks like she could be dating up for the adventure of it all or something. But yeah haha it is pretty sad that they were mistaken.

yeahh. my brother and i were getting our hair cut at the local shop that we've been going to since we were little; i suppose that summer i had changed a lot and looked mature or something because the guy cutting my bro's hair was like "ehhh? is that your girlfriend?" while i waited for him to finish up because i was reading a magazine, i laughed my ass off. my brother was like WTF. yeah.

Oh god yes.

I happen to get along with guys pretty well. In primary school, my best mate was a guy. Guess what everyone thought roll eyes

In secondary school, my new best friend - guy. Now that we were all older as well, my god. There was one time when we both entered our science lesson late with each other (our german teacher wanted to talk to us) and everyone was whistling and giving off those clever comments roll

Haha i just read that someone mistook a father and a daughter. That happened to my sister! She went shopping with my dad and he kept on recieving dirty looks from people. I LOLED when i heard XD

Happens a lot to me dead ... I had this huge growth spurt in like the 6th grade and I keep being mistaken for a college student.... Its not so bad now that Im older, but people are always shocked when I tell them my real age...
(My little sister who's 8 has been mistaken for my daughter at least a dozen times before...)

Happened twice: first with my university friend (girl): all were thinking we were dating cause we went everywere and did all together. I wished it was true (she was a beautiful model) laugh, and maybe in an unofficial way it was so for some time.

Second: at the seaside, with my friend's girlfriend we were watching the others bathing and in the meantime chatting. We were mistook for a couple by a man asking something, i dont remember well (ages ago)

Once, my gender was mistaken and I was perceived to be dating one of my parents.
Then I talked (voice gives away gender), and the guy who thought so was really embarrassed after.

I didn't notice it at all, though. I was told much, much later. I just sort of made a couple of guttural noises until I could speak again after hearing that.
Not fun.
I wonder if I look old...
