I don't read Japanese, so I am at the mercy of translations/translators. Recently I've encountered comments denouncing Tokyopop's translations, and it got me to thinking about a particular scene that happened in volume 3 of Legal Drug that I've always wondered about.

I remember reading in the scanlated version in the beginning of volume 3 Nayuki tells Kazahaya that he'd be a prime target for other's lust in the bath and that there was once a rape there that's why they all have showers in their rooms.

Now the Tokyopop version translates it as "attempted rape".

Does anyone know which is the correct translation, because that changes the meaning radically.
