I have some photoshop skills.
But I probably forgot everything because I haven't touched a computer that even has that program in over 3 years.

Mine are crappy, I recenctly discovered the power of the Gradient laugh I also don't bother to practice any tutorials, I like learning on my own but even when I open up a project, my attention span gets the best of me and I never finish.

I have some skills, but not too deep. I'm aware that PS has some cool functions but I have not too much time (and need) on discovering them. (Just recently found out that PS actually has a version of vector splines).
Coloring manga scans? I use Corel Draw for it (but I haven't finished any of the designed pics yet. and maybe never will).
And what's the big idea with coloring? Are you talking about brushes? Didn't ever think it's hard...

I'm alright; I'm good enough to edit manga decently.
I may not be amazing at redrawing, sometimes it takes me a long time, but I get by.
Just read some guides and practice a while and it's easy to get where I am, no special skills needed P:

As for manipulating photos and creating sigs and stuff, I'm not that good.
I used to do it a lot, but now I don't so I forgot a lot of techniques, so I can really only do basic stuff.

Never tried anything other than cleaning manga, and don't have any desire to. Photoshop and its bajillion features take a while to get used to, and I simply couldn't care less about a custom icon or sig. XD

I have a lower version of PS that doesn't include all the features, but I know my way around it very well. A lot of my traditional art training comes in handy-I'm getting lazy with my painting because I've gotten used to using layers...

But then, I don't use a manga-based style of art very often, nor do I create small images like icons. I can edit photos very well: it just took practice (and I won't do it for a photo of myself that is supposed to look like me. I edit for artistic value only).

Having an enormous, high quality tablet helps too wink

Haha, I tried to use photoshop once; it was a trial version. Too much fancy crap in it, I couldn't get it to do what I wanted. I found this image that had really hard, sharp lines, and I wanted to soften them. Simple, yes? I found the tool that is supposed to let you change the hardness of the image, and I tried to use it, but it didn't work! Instead of making the image softer, it just made things gritty and crappy and ugly. I thought photoshop was supposed to be this fancy amazing thing, and I couldn't get it to carry out one simple action. Maybe it was because it was just a trial? ...Well anyway, that was the end of our relationship.
All I've got on my computer is MS paint, and I'm pretty good with that, so that's what I'll be sticking with for now.
Maybe I'll get real photoshop and read a guidebook or something for it someday.

Not only have I never personally used photoshop, I've never seen anyone else in the process of using it either. So, the level of my "photoship skills" is probably something below "nonexistant"

I think for my generation I'm not that bad (:
I've been "photoshopping" since I was like about 12.
But I'm not a pro at all, I'm rather bad for 3 years experience.
I can do most of basics well, I'm familiar with layers and all that stuff.
The only things I make with photoshop are GFX and drawings.
I'm not good at retouching photos.
