Desperately need Shoujo and Josei staff for new projects like~

Tsumi ni Nureta futari

Translators
We need Japanese, Chinese, and Korean translators. Any genre is okay, but we hope for some flexibility. A good number of our projects are being held up by lack of translators.

Proofreaders
Proofreaders turn any translation, good or bad, into great English (or good writing). Be willing to talk and work with others if you can’t come up with how a certain sentence should sound. A good command of spelling, syntax, and conversational English is required. Please use a spell check program just in case. Knowledge of project source language is not required, though a plus.

Editors
We are severely lacking in editors currently, and we’re willing to teach you if needed, but experience is a big thing here. Knowledge of the basics (rotating, cropping, leveling and checking for dust) is required; knowing your way around clone tool and pen tool and using them for redrawing a very big plus, but can be taught. NCIS focuses on quality releases, not speed scans, so we can be a little tough on editors in this group. I know we all do this as volunteers, but as most editors in NCIS are artists and huge fans, we feel it would be doing the mangaka and their work a disservice if we released low-quality work. This is not to discourage people new to Photoshop or editing from joining, but you must be willing to take criticism and learn from mistakes.

Typesetters
This job is really basic: you copy-paste text from the script into the bubbles. You just need to be able to center the text and make it aesthetically pleasing for the reader; it’s something that can be easily taught.

Quality-Checkers
We need a few good all-around quality checkers. You must be able to spot editing and typesetting mistakes. Having previous experience is a huge plus, but not required.
