.....because in real life, guys are nothing like the manga characters, lol.
I have unrealistic expectations now. o.O
Shoujos are so misleading......
Seriously, am I the only one?!?!?

If that is true there is a t-shirt on a website called Neighborhoodies.com for you!

And I'm sort of in your same boat (not as bad though, but I don't find that real boys act anywhere even close to the ones in shoujo)...

>_>

Yeah, because in real life everyone is handsome and does everything for their partner.

Mixing a Shoujo with real life is like mixing a shounen with it, unless you expect to jump of the top of a building and survive you shouldn't mix them... and if you do... better jump off your nearest building cause real life is one of two either too dull and crappy with small burst of action or wait that is the only option...

Don't be delusional, if real life where like a manga there wouldn't be fugly people laugh

I find the unpredictablility of real guys more exciting than the manga stereotypes you often see. I would love for my life to be so exciting ( I mainly read action and supernatural/fantasy) but alas it can not be so. But I prefer real guys because I'm not perfect myself and seeing the flaws of reality lets me feel good about my own faults. Plus real guys always surprise you, for good or for worse, and the fun of dating is trying to decipher whether or not he likes you while sending out the right strength of signal that you like him. If things were as easy as just confessing like they do in manga then half the fun has gone. I also enjoy being mean to jerks, they deserve it so I like to yank their chain a bit. hell hath no fury and all that, lol. I wish guys were as hot but I've seen some scorging real guys, I'm dating a lad who is to die for, reminds me of Dean from Supernatural (Jensen Ackles) in terms of looks. Still no idea how I nabbed him, he is so out of my league but that's the beauty of life, it's not fair. Give me reality over fantasy any day of the week.

Hehe yeah, I do agree on the cliche thing....
Imagine if the real world was like a Mayu Shinjo manga... everyone falling in love with their rapist and such o.O

Looks like you got used to mangas' perfect world.

You're a goner.

Now that you've gone to this stage, you must start the process of realizing that real life and stories fabricated from someone's imagination are different. Then separate them from each other, this is a difficult process but I'm sure you'll get through it. smile
