It just occurred to me as I was reading the second season, that the names of the sisters could actually be drink names:
Moka = Mocha (as in coffee)
Cocoa = Cocoa (yeah, well that one was right)
Karura = Kahlua (a mexican alcoholic drink, I think)
I don't know what the oldest sister's name is, but I think it makes sense. What do you guys think?

I've always wondered about this...
It's interesting how you pointed out Karura as Kahlua though...a tad far don't you think? but still interesting nonetheless.

Maybe their mothers name is Margarita and their father Jack Daniels
In all seriousness though, maybe the eldest sister's name is something like a cocoa liqueur? since we have moccha (coffee) and Kahlua (coffee liqueur) and last cocoa. It would fit in the theme. But the only name I can think of in that case is Godiva, a brand famous for chocolate products and high quality chocolate liqueurs.

Margarita and Jack Daniels
Then i suppose they've hidden the fact that they're last name is Smirnoff too then?
That would be the perfect last name for that family

Well Mokas name doesn't even need modifications. There is an alcoholical drink called Moka, tastes like coffee and it is also ussually drunk with milk. btw tastes awasome.

I think "Karura" is more like "Carla"
Maybe YOU drank a bit too much of Kahlua before posting XD

Actually, when I heard the name "Moka" I instantly thought of a cow, since in Italian Moka it's pronounced similar to "mucca" meaning cow.
For her surname it's pretty obvious, Akashiya sounds like "Ayakashi" means spirit, ghost or monster w/e.

I realised that their names were related to drinks after Cocoa appered. As for the family name Akashiya I think is related to blood since Aka means red.

Could Akuha be a bad Japanese pronunciation of "Alcohol?" I have no idea about the mother's name or the last name, though their last names differ as well, do they not?
P.S. I actually abstain from both alcohol and coffee, so was neither drunk, nor an expert on the subject. :-D
