Thanks minna-san!!

Wow! So worried about names!

Our boy name from last time is pretty simple - Ethan Mark. Mark for my Grandpa which was his nickname, because there is no way Orval will do. Ethan 'cause that's the one my hub wants although I'm gonna try and get Eden instead, since Ethan was the most popular boy name in the US according to SSN registrations. I don't want to make my son just one out of six kids in his class with that name, like I was in school. Way too lame.

Girl names are a totally different story. Personally, I like Rinalee or Lenalee (yeah, from D-Gray-man) but I doubt I'll get that OK'd by the man. lol Actually I'm pretty positive it would be a no. no
@Stealth - lol - Just have to defend myself and say that Ezri is a great name with a biblical background from the Hebrew - Ezra - meaning Strength. Ezri means 'helper' which is perfect for the eldest daughter. And I don't like *real* boys! Yuck! dead

@luisalirio84 - pantyhose...lol...still chuckling from all of your suggestions...flameheart. wtf? where did you...nevermind, I don't want to know. lol

Any good baby name suggestions people? I could probably use them.

Lenalee? Jebus hippopotamus christmas tree lady you're better off naming her candyluver or chocolate surprise than naming a white/america girl rinalee/lenalee she's bound to be a stripper at a japanese bar.lol. Heed my advice :

Girls Names:
Daisy(She'll probably turn out fragile like a daisy and not really be the working type but she's bound to be cute) Also the spanish version is Daisita (pronounced dayzeeta) So it's all good.

Topanga(Seriously I loved that show and that girl) although this name will probably mess her up.

Sophia- My sister's name. Yes she's an ogre but she'll definetely be smart and Sophia means wisdom in hebrew of course it also means keeper of satan or something like that in some demon religion lol. (varies: sophie, soap )

Cassia- (A girl I had a teensey weensey crush it's also a plant/flower) Seriously great girl and beautiful name and everything else smile

Boys Names:

Cletus, Dingus, Rolf, Ralph, JACK, TRIP, PERnell (we'll miss you man sad ), Homer, Bart, Abraham, Simpleton, Jack Daniel, Gin Bourbon, Pepy le peu, Woody Woodpecker(if he's born tooless), Smith Wesson Colt, James Barclay, Peter Paul and Mark, Edward VIII, Price, person formerly know as prince, Jackass h dookie, Jackass Two Fifteen. Luke 7:14 , Revelations 5:16 , Grim, Billy, Tommy Boy, Eddy, Luke Skywalker, Walker texas bumpkin, Dingbat, nosebugger.

Just something to think about smile Thank you and goodnight bigrazz

Sorry for the ridiculousness of this thread, I'm just too happy and wanted to share.

To make this an actual topic for discussion, why not have a guess at the sex/dob/weight or wtvr?

I think baby should come sometime in March. I'll take a total guess and say boy // 03/25/08 // 7lbs 13oz.

I'm guessing you found out your pregnant? Hmm.....

Nice, kids are fun.
Although your financial burden would increase.

Name your baby some Chinese names. Most Chinese names got cool meanings. Like mine. biggrin

topangaconfused oh geez no...that would mess up a child's life...XD please no more of the boy meets world....i had enough of that after the 90's XD j/k

but i think you should stick to the pratical names...even though there might be another kid with the same name....at least they won't be mocked or something....^^

WOW, Congratulations! Happy times.
For guesses, umm, DOB would depend on when s/he was concieved? roll eyes Since you are putting it at the end of Feb next year, perhaps March 10, 2008?
Wieght 7 lb 8 oz - don't really have a good idea of weight ranges
Gender and names: Boy?
How about Heath? or Tristan? or Lance? What is your ethnic origins?
If a girl, how about Autumn Rose (First and Middle)? That's a name my 2nd BF and I thought of - obviously not going to happen for me, but I think its still lovely, and not something that would be made fun of.

Or maybe Vlad for a boy ... cool name bigrazz

PS. otakubaybay, Wolfram sounds neat, too!

ANY name can be made fun of, trust me. Kids can be verrrry creative. roll eyes

My brother and I both have quite unusual names & had our share of teasing/whatever while growing up. It's never made me dislike my name, just the idiots who couldn't resist the obvious jokes.

Naming my boys, I tried to pick names that were unusual enough that they wouldn't be one of many in their class (I love the name Alexander, but I knew it was popular so I didn't use it, and half of their preschool class one year was named some variation of it - Alex, Alexis, Lexie, Alexander, Xander, and several others I can't remember right now), but not unusual enough that it would be "strange" or "weird".

So far so good - in 5th grade now, there's been one other kid with one of their names. No one hears their names & says "that's not a name!" (which has happened to me, mostly with little kids), but of course they've come up with creative ways to turn their names into something tease-able. bigrazz

Bottom line - avoid the names that will make them really appealing targets for harassment, and pick something you really like because you're going to be using that name a LOT, esp. when they get older!
