Lately, I've read a lot of fiery female characters that are next to worthless.
Basically, they're usually quite angry people (occasionally gentle), all talk super big, yet they got almost no back up. Then she gets into trouble and can't do anything so the guy ends up saving her, and she ends up falling for him but (usually) is unwilling to admit it and gets angry at him still.
Now, i don't like the total dunces and ditz of female characters either, but this kind of female character aggravates me to no end. She's so completely useless and though sometimes it adds humor, it gets so annoying.
I don't know about anyone else, but I feel this character is so weak and irritating. Anyone agree with me on this? Or hate me for simply saying this?

I think thats what they call a tsundere. In contrast to your opinion, I do not think they are irritating, since they have more of a personality than those of the usual passive and innocent types in manga/anime. They are all so lovable too, since they are hard on the outside and all so soft in the inside. Makes you want to cheer them on, this is actually a much better representation of modern females in my opinion. Since not all females are like Rapunzel waiting to be rescue from a castle, some just plainly beat up the dragon themselves!

I agree and it reminds me of what happened with Shakugan no Shana season 2. Shana is fiery and likes to tease Yuuji but by the second season she is more focused on the romantic feelings she has than fighitng and now she's weak compared to Yuuji. I like female characters who are true to their word like Kyoko from Skip Beat.

..whilst Tsundere-type some female characters can bring annoyance..Asuka Langley is exceptionally different. I loovee her catch-phrase, "ANTA BAKA?!"

I can't say I hate tsunderes. Sometimes I like them and sometimes I think they are annoying (like Sakura from Naruto)
Examples of tsunderes I like:
Tsukiumi from Sekirei
Kotegawa from to-love-ru
I can't help but like them.

it gets me annoyed sometimes, yeah. but they usually change over time...
hikari from special a is an example (i think)...she used to get mad that she can never beat kei. now, they're bf/gf.
misaki from kaichou wa maid-sama is another example too.

HAH! I totally second that...BUT..
That's one of the main reasons why I gave up both mangas.
It's pointless, really.

Well...at first, not so much. But seeing one all the time one after another and another, it gets old.

This.
It gets real tiresome where in about 90% of the manga/anime today you see a tsundere who's always a bitch to the main character (Usually a dude) for no good reason, and yet the main character is too much of a weakling to call them on their shit.
IMO tsunderes are the worst character archetype because it's very hard to believe how someone could talk to or be around a person who loves to keep mocking them, degrading them, or knocking them out for the littlest thing.
And if the tsundere confesses their love to the main lead, the main lead shouldn't even try to understand why the tsundere kept abusing them instead of just telling them in the first place. Who the hell would want a significant other that spends most of their time with you just complaining and needlessly pointing out your flaws?
