I hope kishimoto wasn't just giving me false hope by hiding hinata's body from view and only showing blood.

Same here. Kishimoto's decision of suddenly killing significant characters away from the audience's view is starting to piss me off.

As for Naruto, it's nice to see the kyuubi back in action, though it does kind of suck that all of Naruto's efforts in not relying on the kyuubi seem to be in vain.

I agree, but i like it at the same time, because that means that he cares deeply for Hinata if he was pushed over the edge from it.

Huh... Characters dying left and right... I hope she's actually dead... Why keep her alive if Shizune's dead no [I suppose Kakashi too sad ]

.... But, I don't really think she is dead; I don't think they're all dead... not really (read: Hopes Shizune's still alive)...

*prays* Hinata's death for Shizune's revival
HinataXNaru must be rejoicing >.> Oh joy...
Finally Gai's team comes in cool What is Naruto's actual limit on those tails before he dies or causes major damage to himself? I think if I remember by the 5th his no longer concious of his actions.

hinata was a character that i did not care for, i don't think she really had any significant, or really any, effect on the story
there was sorta a two birds with one stone feeling to her death, it got rid of an useless character and allowed naruto to power up and the same time

Thats true and yea now I've gotten a little past my "KISHOMOTOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" train of thought and cursing i see that and it makes the chapter even better for me although I hope Sakura DOESN'T snap Naruto out of it anytime soon [ie after Pain is rendered into small little bite sized pieces].

Side note, Shizune is Dead

I wanna know where this deep caring came from. Like. I mean really. Hinata has barely done anything with Naruto. His reaction would be more understandable if there had been some character development between the two in part 2.

And I couldn't agree more. She never had a proper conversation with him to begin with. I guess since they're friends he got pissed. I wonder if the same reaction would apply if somone like Tenten got hurt or some other minor character.

I think the Love Confession + Attempting to Protect + Being Killed would all be very very moving and rage enducing, but yeah the Development between the two in Part 2 has been minimal, yet those first two acts together would have a great deal of effect on Naruto, she told him not only did she love him, but that he saved her and was a great inspiration to her, hell the fact that she would die [willing] to try and protect him would have a deep impact on Naruto who spent most of his early years being hated by everyone around him.

Makes sense. If Sakura had been the one hurt, I think all hell would break loose laugh Now who will stop Naruto from going crazy...unless Killer Bee makes a grand entrance

i was shocked! u cant kill her off now! i might have to go fly to japan to stage a protest with the other hinata fans.

her death (if thats what it was...) was way too pathetic! no way he would kill her off that quickly.

i dont care too much about the fox since i prefer sage mode, but im looking forward to lee's team realizing whats going on.

That was a shocker and too depressing. She didnt deserve to die like that after confessing. You dont always need to talk to each other a lot to fall in love. With Hinata's death goes Naruto's chances of ever having a girlfriend coz I cant see Sakura ever choosing Naruto over Sasuke when Sasuke does become good no matter how much Sakura has come to admire Naruto and Naruto will step aside for Sasuke. So Hinata's death is pretty much the end of all possibilites of Naruto ever ending up with someone. If Sakura did love Naruto she would have come to his rescue like Hinata. I bet if it was Sasuke in danger instead of Naruto, Sakura would have rushed out to help no matter what she was doing. So SakuxNaru is never happening and Kishi just ended all possibilities of NaruxHina ending. So I just see Naruto ending up as Hokage at the end but a Hokage without a female companion. So all this talk about no one dying in the new generation was all crap. Seriously Kishi is killing off too many people
