I haven't had a favorite movie in a while, but if I had to pick off the top of my head... Black Hawk Down . Makes me cry like a baby every time.

Don't have one. they are all imperfect in some ways.

I don't agree with ares6 point of view just cause their imperfect doesn't mean you wouldn't have a favourite and there is one I would call perfect for me :

Godfather
Casablanca
Seven Samurai
Shawshank Redemption
Also a long list of french and other foreign films goes here (life is beautiful) bigrazz

V for Vendetta

think it was quite overlooked, but the damn best movie I ever saw

Independence Day

cool Aliens, cool technologies (i'm a tech-geek), and will smith in a bare-hand fight with an alien.....w00t

Every single Godzilla movie

exept that one made by hollywood. point for good looking, but the old crappy godzilla had more style. laugh

Wow a huge Leslie Nielsen groupie. Oh well whatever floats your boat. I'm just teasing. Gladiator is a great movie but in terms of writing and actors just can't compare with the classics. Russel Crowe, although I like his work, is a mere shadow to guys like DeNiro and Pacino. Have you ever seen Ronin? that movie is awesome(jean reno and deniro made a serious masterpiece with that movie the girl was good too)

Star wars original trilogy is light years... better than the new ones but still I don't think it's that good sure effects and all but I judge movies on 3 things mostly acting ,directing and storyline. Bond movies are seriously lacking in the1st and second criterion. Although I liked Sean Connery smile

THe only new movies I watch are comedies really and i'm picky bigrazz

Imperfection means.....imperfection. Movies often begin to rot after watching it more than 3 times. Thus, they are imperfect. Otherwise, they would obtain immortality by time.

lol

I'm also a fan of the HP movies...yeah I'm one of those freaks decked out in Slytherin duds for all the move and book premiers. ^_^ I just love movies with lots of stuff to look at like HP. Others would be The Goonies, Indian Jones, etc. I also loved the Matrix, but only really liked the first movie and the Animatrix.

I totally love all the Star Trek movies, with Wrath of Khan my fav OS and Insurrection my fav from TNG. Star Wars was super great, but i never saw the last (or 1st?) 2.

My favorite movie of all time is Galaxy Quest, and Dodgeball and Super Troopers are a tie for second. ...my girl kept hitting the caps lock so writing that out took a lot longer than it should have.

And welcome back, Ares6! I'm sure you've made Luisalirio very happy with your return so that he now has his favorite person to fight with back. It's been a little rough for him. He was picking fights with new posters and everything. lol Cheers!
