Hi there!
Do you like manhua? Do you have free time on your hands? Do you want to dabble in scanlation? If so, then Goldwish Pond is the group for you! We’ve been releasing manhua translations since July 2017, but only now decided to expand our group. We work on different projects with a wide range of genres, and with more staff we could speed up our releases, or even pick up new manhua!
Right now we're in need of:
- Chinese to English translators
- Typesetters
- Quality checkers (need previous experience)
Here are some projects that we're interested in picking up, provided that we have more staff:
- Record of the Southern Mist House (南烟斋笔录): Drama, Fantasy, Historical, Josei, Romance, Supernatural, Tragedy
- Kitty Sweet Shop (猫咪甜品屋): 4-Koma, Comedy, Slice of Life, Cats & Cuteness
- Dragon and Basement (龙与地下室): Comedy, Drama, Fantasy, Slice of Life, Supernatural, Tragedy, BL subtext (if you squint)

We are in desperate need of an experienced quality checker.
What you do as a quality checker are:
check if the cleans/redraws are good
check if the typeset text is in the correct positions
check if the proofread is correct on the typesetted files.
you are not required to fix the cleans if you can't. You can direct a cleaner to help fix it if you don't know how to do heavy cleans.
