MQ/HQ. HQ is better, but those little red numbers next to series on my reading list often push me to read MQ. But LQ is a big no. But for example, it's definitely worth it to wait for Maximum7 for Bleach scans, and almost worth it to wait for Japflap on Naruto scanlations.

It's more likely the horrible mangaka's drawings to make me drop manga than the quality of scanlations. Once I somehow managed to read the photos of manga.
But all that visible phoshop tricks are gross. Seriously, if you work with graphics get a normal monitor (I don't want to believe that editor sees errors and leaves them). One guy from Storm in Heaven stuff made a great site "Idiot's guide how to edit manga".

I actually don't care. As long as it's readable, I'm not fussy whatsoever.
Just give me those releases! XD

I mainly read hentai, so I don't really

Just keep it coming with a reasonable resolution
and typesetting and stop the bleeding

Of course i would love it if the quality was always perfect, but as long as its readable (despite how bad the quality may be) its fine.

I love HQ. I'm pretty patient when it comes to my favorites. Of course, there's always a limit. If I have to wait for a month for twenty pages, I usually do settle for speed scans (but only if they're at least MQ). What's worse is when I wait for half a year and no new releases come out. Then I start looking for other groups.
My answer: Scanlation quality is important, but I'll settle for something a step below perfection if I'm waiting for a long time for something. However, I will wait as long as I have to for One Piece (love you, Null!).

Yeah I like good quality and sometimes I'll get irritated and stop reading if the scans are too grainy, like in Case Closed and occasionally in Skip Beat. Clean scans are the best >_<

I pick 2nd. For all of you guys who picked 1st, then you should try to be an editor. It's takes up so much time.

Option 2, I like it high quality if possible, but I don't mind small mistakes (as long as they only happen in a few chapters)

In terms of editing, second option. I don't really mind about tiny details such as "visible dusts" (if you zoom in 1200%) and what not. That got on my nerves a little when I was editing xD
Yeah, I'm a "lenient" editor. I'm not too strict about things I don't exactly look at while reading....freaks =_=
In terms of content, first option.
Typography...
Crap fonts are crap.
Badly aligned text annoys me a bit.
Mispellings...are okay, but if the same word is repeatedly mispelled, then something funky's going on =_=, too much is bad too.
Overall, second choice for me.

I prefer MQ.
I'm not so rude as to demand perfection from people who are doing this of their own free will. As long as I can read it, and it's decent, I'm good.
Plus some of the HQ groups do it better than some publishers. That kind of depresses me when a group that is doing it for free has better quality than a company that is paid to do it.

HQ is, of course, preferable, but i don't have a problem with MQ or even LQ. i usually just replace them when the better ones is available

I don't need it done perfectly. If it's legible and grammatically correct, I'm usually satisfied.
