Fun to read (I want more!).
Nice about once per chapter (more would be annoying).
Plain annoying.

How do you feel about scanlators adding (personal) notes to manga ?
Would you rather see more?
Would you rather see less?
Would you rather them to be wiped off?...

It's a small survey I'd like to do.
Yes, I do have an ulterior motive. :3

If it's about terminology and is well explained, it's great. But if it's like a page full of text it can be tiring to read.

Notes that are directed to us, the readers – why not?
Notes with the staff reminescenting the inside jokes from their IRC channel – eating my HD space. If it is well written, I will gladly
read it. If not... GTFO my .rar.

If it's relevant or funny, and not distracting, obtstructing, or too long, then I have no problems with one per chapter or less.

Never read them so I don't know what's in them. They are the first thing I delete after downloading a manga chapter. I chose "They put notes Oo?".

I don't really care how many they put. Some notes are hilarious, while some are just there to give more information. So some are helpful and some are just plain amusing.
I know a typesetter who likes to put funnnehh comments when he typesets, it makes me question his gender sometimes (SATOSHI bigrazz).
Or do you mean those translator notes that are used as reference? O_O

I usually like them. They tend to add a little bit to the story and make me think of a situation in a slightly different (often more humorous) way. smile

I don't mind them. If they have extra info on things i don't understand, its helpful. Its funny when they note things like the character's facial expressions and make fun of them.

Once in a while is okay; too much and it'll take away too much attention from the manga.
They're usually fun to read, though I've seen some which are quite insensitive...>_>

I think they're great as long as it isn't a totally unreasonable amount, say 12 or 13.

They sometimes point out weird things and enhance the experience and sometimes they make me laugh more than the actual manga itself.

As long as they aren't trying to have a long conversation with us, go ahead.
