So what is your favorite instrument?

Mine would be the accordion. I love the sound this instrument gives off and its damn cool to watch someone play it. (to listen to some good accordion go listen to the band a hawk and a hacksaw...they typically have some accordion in their music...fair warning they are polka...I love polka...)

I absolutely love the violin. It can have such a beautiful sound. Living Inside the Shell, the Devil's Trill (played specifically by David Oistrakh), and Viva la Vida are some examples of songs I like. I find that good violin can make a songs great or make a bad song okay (not bad or good).

Can't help it; love the piano. It's the only instrument I enjoy playing (without added insentives) and that's probably why I like listening to it (unless it's my baby brother playing, but he only plays video game theme songs from Zelda and the like).

My mom and dad like it polka, too. I've only heard it a few times at family weddings though...

The piano is the best. You can make it sad,or exciting.
I also love the wooden flute, it makes a nature-ish sound :]
For genres like rock,I love the bass and electric guitar.
But my all time favorite is the piano . eyes

The tenor saxophone, by far. I absolutely love classic jazz, and I love seeing it done impromtu on stage (and performing it, for that matter). It has a lot of technique involved just to create the simplest sounds, and adds a lot of depth as a supporting instrument. I could never get tired of listening to or playing it (although my mouth can get pretty tired...).

I play the flute, and it is more fun to play than to listen to. Piccolo's sound terrible on their own, but wooden flutes sound very beautiful.

I also love the violin: Played well, it sounds so wonderful that it should be illegal. Played badly, the way I do it, it sounds like something nasty in a great deal of pain dead This one takes much more effort to learn.

I consider the piano the most versatile, but it just isn't my favourite.

I'm a alto sax play for like 12 years so I would have to go with E flat saxophone. Accordions are really neat too. I play some and have professional accordion players in my family. ^_^

Close enough in my opinion.
