confused I was wondering the same thing!! When did this story set in ancient arabia suddenly have cars, guns and Osama Bin Laden along with modern issues in it? Come to think of it, how did Sehara even know that story when it didn't even occur in his time?_>

Confused!!!! dead confused confused confused

I TOTALLY second that! No matter what the message the mangaka is trying to potray, it just doesnt FIT well with 1001 Nights because of it's ancient setting.

@Robbit
It's a good manwha, infact it's one of my favourites, it's just that vol. 7's side story doesnt make any sense! no

Wtf? Even Obama got a cameo in Air Gear...? eek

I agree that 1001 Nights is a great manhwa, but damn, it's not starting not to make sense at all. Well, I still read it in my local library because of "pretty picture" though.

I know this forum post is ancient, but after I read all your posts I just couldn't leave it at that.

I cannot believe how people like you dare to ridicule the issue and it makes me very sad to see the ignorance within the youth of this planet. This is EXACTLY what the story is about. And you're doing the exact same thing this story is warning us about. It's so disappointing.

And also: How does this story not fit the Manhwa? I do think it is one of the most important ones, since we should never lose awareness of what is currently happening in the world. Sehara might as well have told a story of the future, something that is very common in storytelling.
