can someone please explain to me how Naruto would ever be able to bring his boyfriend home. its my understanding that even in the its shounen universe run away ninja's are considered criminals usually with bounties on their heads.
They'll totally connive things so that Sasuke does something big and heroic at the last possible moment--like help Naruto defeat Madara or some crap. That way he comes off like a savior and all will be forgiven and forgotten. Just watch, I would put money that this is how it'll play out.
I think this is why the village was destroyed by Pain--so that Sasuke couldn't do it and officially become a bad guy. Now he's got to do something else quasi-evil before he can be "redeemed."

This manga needs better plot devices than "bringing Sasuke back".
Like so many people already said, the whole Nagato arc is just about teaching Naruto more about revenge, and being able to bond more with Sasuke, or something along those lines.
I am seriously starting to get pissed off with it all. Since chapter 230 or so the ultimate goal has been bringing that fruitcake back. That's half of the chapters so far. I think that it's about time to move on and let the main protagonist of shounen manga with so much potential have a more worthy goal.
When you're right, you're right.
In part I of the series, all Naruto could talk about was becoming stronger to be Hokage. In part II, all he cares about is becoming stronger to bring Sasuke back. He puts even Sakura's obsession with Sasuke to shame. Has Naruto even gone on ONE mission post-time skip that didn't have anything to do with Sasuke or Akatsuki? (LOL "crazy, obsessed stalker ninja that wants to have g*y bu*t s*x with a uber-strong but emo ninja" indeed. That's
totally the behavior of a typical straight male, what are you talking about?)
Getting to see more of the ninja universe is about the only really good thing that has come out of all this crap with Sasuke. The thing with the giant cat was cool as was the stuff with Cloud Village. How much more awesome would the manga have been if we'd gotten to see all that stuff as part of ninja missions like in the good old days of the Wave Country arc?
The current storyline has to finish sometime, right? (But yeah, at least this series hasn't gotten as bad as Bleach.)
