I'm the lead translator for the Ni No Kuni DS English ROM translation group. We're almost wrapping up with the game, and are starting to think about getting started on the companion book that shipped with the game in Japan.
We are fairly sure we can get cleaned versions of the pages from the Spanish translation team. A lot of the data was already translated for the game, so it will be a matter of typesetting existing content into a number of different page styles. There will also be a small amount of graphical editing to change the colors of a few images, and some specialized fonts will be used.
Thanks to the PS3 version of the game, we have a large portion of the ~350 page book already translated in English. We need to typeset about 115 pages, some with large illustrations, and then insert them into the existing PS3 PDF and renumber all the pages.
Typesetters would be fantastic - it is an art that I have really grown to appreciate through the manga scanlation projects that I help with. Editors are a nice to have, I'll slog through every page if we don't get any new team members willing to do it. I love this game, which is why I've spent so long translating and playtesting it.
