I am currently doing a project for a class regarding translation quality of media and I need some people to take a survey. In the link at the very end of this post, there will be a link to the Google form. The form will have 4 manga, 1 chapter each. Just read it and answer the questions. It's mostly some common identification stuff, familiarity with Japanese (language and culture), and then the translation quality of each manga (as far as you can tell). This is originally for college students, but you don't have to be one to participate.

If there's no responses for the form by the time limit, I'm just going to delete this post. I'm sorry for the short notice.

Case study of manga translation problems: focalization vs perspective buy term paper Author: Per Gyllenfjell | Supervisor: Hiroko Inose

Hi, any results from your project? I'm a post graduate looking for help with my topic: Manga Translations and Interculture. I will need to interview 10-15 manga translators for my research. Also: my practical part will be to compare and contrast 4 translated texts in terms of focalization and perspective (in 4 literary narratives as the means of communicating the message to the readers).
