Hello!

I'm looking for a manga about a boy who is a doctor (?) going on an adventure in oldtime Japan
But the things he cures have to do with supernatural beings. It was a pretty good shounen adventure manga.

I think there are scenes when he has to set up a "shield" before facing whatever is possessing the host
One particular scene I think is where a whole bunch of girls have this tiny bug thing in them and he needs to be super precise about killing them

I think it was an older manga. If someone knows what it is and could tell me, that would be amazing!!
