I'm looking for any kind of martial arts manga that has 'ki' in it. Something like The Breaker, HSD Kenichi, etc etc. Preferrably shounen or seinen, but as long as the focus is on martial arts and the development of the characters (strength-wise and maybe even character-depth-wise), I'd be interested in reading it.

If you can think of any particularly outstanding martial arts manga that you think I probably haven't read (I've read most of the ones I can get from searching threads on this forum....so pretty much Baki/Tenjo Tenge/Ping...maybe some others). Above all I'm just looking for something new to get into.

Veritas

As for fighting mangas, I'm not sure if you had read them or not, but I guess at least it would help if you say you did afterwards òÖ

Tough
Riki-Oh

I've read Kotaro Makaritoru! L,Jesus and Joker (HIDAKA Nanao) volumes translated in my native language and I love them. (There's no english scanslation for all of them though) =(

Have you tried Ushio to Tora,Threads of time,Cat's Eye,Red eyes, King of Wolves, Ranma 1/2 and Tekken Chinmi?

They're all good! biggrin

Yea, I'm not really doing myself any favors by not saying what I've read. Suffice to say I've read Veritas (loving it so far), but it was seriously a good suggestion. Tough and Riki-Oh I'll definitely look into, they both look pretty solid.

A brief list of what I've read:

The Breaker
HSD Kenichi
Veritas
Baki - Didn't particularly care for it

Tenjou Tenge - I lost interest in it like halfway through. I like the style it was drawn in and the pace, but somewhere along the way it just sort of slipped off of me.

Vagabond
Shamo - Not sure how I forgot this one
Vinland Saga
Change Guy
Rurouni Kenshin
Berserk
Get Backers
Change 123
X Blade
Freezing
Ping
Yu Yu Hakusho
Aflame Inferno
Parasyte - Kiseijuu I think its called?

---

And that's probably the bulk of what I've read.
