Btw I'm in Asian country, and so far from those I asked, people from Asia tends to believe in ghost more than westerners mmm...

I don't believe in the supernatural, or for that matter anything superstitious at all, including god(s). My second-favourite fictional genre is supernatural (first being mystery), and I think I love it because I find it so unbelievable: it's a lovely break from real life.

So second option for me.

I don't believe, but could change my mind if I see something. It's the closest choice to the status quo I hold on the topic.
I neither believe nor disbelieve them. I've always been with science. That being the case I know that just something isn't proven to exist today it may not turn up tomorrow, as long as it doesn't get proven otherwise. After all we didn't know of Viruses and Bacteria or other microorganisms existing for a fact till the invention of Microscope. Savvy?!

Don't really believe in them, but I would prefer if they did exist. It would be so much fun. Same with God, well, it's kind of like I would like it if mythological and biblical beings existed. It would make things more interesting.

Never actually "saw a ghost" but had numerous incidents of ghosty-type action happen on a construction job I was once on. Yup, ghost action........a big old commercial building (well, old by American standards, it'd been built in the 1890's, I remember looking at the plaque set in its cornerstone) but it had been derelict for, oh, a couple/few decades.........an old department store, 3 stories and took up most of a city block. Freaking hobos had been living in it for years and years, we kept coming across different spots where whoever had made little makeshift hovels inside the building, on the roof, all over the place. It was freaking awful, we were remodeling certain sections of the building, helping cut off other sections of the building so they could be treated / rented out like separate stores or whatever.

Most of the guys from the shop I was working for had stuff happen to them, their material or tools disappearing and then reappearing later right where they thought they'd left it, lights getting turned off by themselves, all sorts of things..........it just so happened it was me and one other guy, we actually saw something move by itself, when it happened nobody else in the group must have seen it, right after I saw it I was looking from guy to guy to see if they'd seen it too.......it was morning break time and we were all just standing around eating our break and listening to the radio........ and when mine and the other guy's eyes met (his eyes were bugged right out like mine must have been) we both said "did you f-ing see that too?!"

Ghosts, no doubt about it, too many things happened too many times to too many different people, freaking ghosts. That was my only experience though, but from then on I didn't need to "believe" cuz I knew from having personally seen so much of that stuff happen and there was just no other explanation for it.

I believe them. I don't mean ghost, I don't believe in ghosts. but I believe angels and devils (or whatever they're caled) exist.

I don't believe, but could change my mind if I see something. Seeing is believing after all. I wonder if this is a an atheism question in disguise. My answer remains the same. Iron-hard disbelieve, until i actually meet my maker.

I believe what ancient people called god or ghost are called differently in science. Some phenomenons can be explained with our current science while some are still waiting to be discovered.

I've never seen them, but a few weird occasions which my logic couldn't explain. Mostly by smells.

The supernatural is nothing but a glimpse into how people from the past rationalized what they could not understand.

The thing is, anything that can be accepted by science is by definition natural (ie not supernatural). I picked the second option because it makes rational sense--the fourth option at first sounds like the "curious skeptic" answer, and being a curious skeptic is in general a good thing, but by reading again you can see that it sounds more like "if I experience something I cannot otherwise personally explain, I will believe in something not accepted by science", whereas the correct reaction is "I will see if the phenomenon can be studied so that some explanation can be verified by science and therefore fit into the natural world".

People have crazy dreams, people hallucinate ghosts--usually only around 2% of people on the mangaupdates polls are blatantly trolls, but today we have 7.4% of people saying they have "seen" supernatural things and therefore "know" that they are real. Think about how ridiculous that is. To me, anyone who fits into the "I could change my mind if I see something" category is just another person who could fall into the last category if they come across something they don't understand, like for example the people who believe they had an out-of-body experience in a hospital, which actually could easily be explained by the brain synthesizing an intraneural reality with the auditory stimuli it receives.

Don't care if you or whoever else believes me or not. I and another guy saw an old wood office chair lift a few inches off the floor and move by itself around eight feet and then sit back down just as pretty as you please. Essentially a controlled environment....indoors, plenty of other like-type items sitting right beside and around it that showed no signs of, you know, doing anything remotely like that..........and something very tangible moved all by itself right in front of our eyes.

If you think "science" is going to someday explain that for you, well, have at it. It really isn't some kind of rocket science to figure out though if you've ever personally experienced anything like that.

But whatever, like I said, don't care

One of the big problems when it comes to "science" is that a lot of the more profound facts and truths of the world, as well as which studies and sources are considered to be "credible", are more dependent upon politics and money than anything else. You do have some papers that slip through the cracks and publish actual information, but, if your results run counter to the message that the media/political figures want to push and/or the current belief of the day, they're going to do what they can to make sure the info doesn't go public (Here's a recent example of this). In addition, what's ended up happening a lot recently is that you also have people coming forward with claims that have some basis in a study, but are ultimately false (Remember, or even hear about, "Bullyhunters" from a few months ago?); or you have studies with results that are being published, spread about, and being accepted as fact, but the results cannot be replicated at all (Back in 2012, only 10%-30% of most studies could be replicated. In 2015, they found that less than 25% of psychological experiment results could be replicated, and that was being generous with the results.).

Also, this was part of a plot point in Key: The Metal Idol, if you haven't seen that.
