There are some issues that i would like to see addressed. Some people are adding new chapter (short stories) releases that belongs to magazines or an anthology, but they're being labeled as new series or oneshots. There are some confusion of trying to tell what belongs where and now we have a huge mess in the database that may take a very long time to correct. Moreover, i found many releases that have the wrong listed scanlator. I don't even have privilege to correct it. Things would be alot easier if there was a better criteria to follow. Therefore, there needs to be a layout change or something.

My first suggestion is to maybe allow members to post news releases without admin approval, and should be deleted if not approved in a day or something. This way we would have faster updates and maybe less of the same submission. Second, maybe there should be a history for changes/updates of release to allow undo or revert.

For now I'll just recommend the above to see where this goes.

You can. You have to submit a Request Change. It's found in the User CP.

Someone suggested a subforum for updaters but most updaters don't use the forums. Found the thread~

All things go through the Change Request form or direct contact with an admin

All releases will continue to require admin approval with no exceptions

(And you wouldn't believe how many scanlators either can't spell their own group correctly or the series they scanlate...)
