This week's poll was suggested by Crowned_Cumber. Do you plan on rereading your favorite series? Personally, I probably wouldn't. I practically never rewatch movies unless someone else chose the movie we'd watch. And all these activities I do by myself, I probably would never repeat them regardless of how much I like them. That applies to most books, single player video games, etc.

You can submit poll ideas here
http://www.mangaupdates.com/showtopic.php?tid=3903

Previous Poll Results:
Question: If someone spoils the ending to a series you're still reading and you dislike what you hear about the ending, do you continue reading the series?
Choices:
I'll finish the series - votes: 1945 (46.9%)
I'll stop reading now - votes: 475 (11.4%)
I'll keep reading for now, but chances are I won't finish - votes: 1729 (41.7%)
There were 4149 total votes.
The poll ended: October 27th 2018

Fairly evenly split

I always re-read/re-watch my favourites, some of them multiple times. I have so few books/shows/characters that ever truly hit me that there's no way I wouldn't go over them again. I don't do it right away, though. I usually wait a year or two and when I've forgotten most of it, I'll read/watch again.

Not the choice I was looking for, but somehow make-do with 'I probably won't read this ever again', which is barely close enough to the choice I would like to go to.

I would've liked a evenly split up choice like - I may or my not re-read this ever again, even if it's one of my favourites. You see it's totally depends on the particular series. Even if I totally digged a series during my reading period, I may never feel the urge arising to read it again or I just randomly start reading it again. It's also same with all the other things I love, like - watching movies, reading novels, comics, playing video games, watching TV shows etc.

A spark of Randomness, is the light of my characteristic, which drives my daily unorganized life and never failed me till now.

After reading so many mangas I barely re-read anything at all even my favourite mmm...
The only manga that I might re-read are some really good oneshots since it's short mmm...

I'll reread it a while from now (years, perhaps).

I'll reread at least the first volume, not the whole series. This is because I would have bought the first volume if its one of my favs. I believe in giving the first volume to friends so they can slowly buy the series and love them as much as me.

For tv series, though, I might rewatch the whole series four or five years after my initial watch. Sooner if I am recommending it to friends. Some movies I watch again and again every year.

I always re-read or re-watch my favourite series, regardless of whether they are a novel, a manga, a movie, a tv series, an anime, etc...
About when I do that, well... it depends on the series. Sometimes I start re-reading/watching it right away, sometimes I wait some months, sometimes I do it after some years just because I get nostalgic.

Definitely yes! After an extended period of time. The exception would be if the ending is very depressing.

I love rereading my favorite titles, though I'll usually wait a year or two in between reads. If the title is particularly long, I may stick to only my favorite volumes the second time through.

Whoa... So timely. Just now finished rereading one of my all time favorites "Midnight Secretary", but last time i read it was couple of years ago. Though i don't reread some of them. If series is over 10 volumes it is a bit too much, so I am not likely to reread those out of series that i have rated 10/10 i have reread around 25%, but i don't know some series have much more reread value than others, because i decide to reread only fairly specific types of series... But i suppose my ultimate favorite ones even though i do it every couple of years or so I did reread a few times...

I'll reread it a while from now (years, perhaps) because there's just so many stories out there. While it is great to reread a good find, that also means I'm taking away time from going through other series that have the possibility of being just as good.

Also, long pauses between sessions of re-experiencing a story can give you a chance to see or notice something different that you didn't realize before.

Depends on how good it is. Maybe I'll start over again as soon as I finished (fairly rare) or maybe the next week, month, year, decade. Eventually I'll come back to the good stuff, since there's a finite supply of new stories and you eventually run out. You might think you never get up to 10.000 or even 20.000 stories,... but the truth is... eventually you do. That is, if you stay a fan for that long and don't take a long time to finish reading.

After I finish it I'll skim my favorite parts, but it will be a while before I fully reread it. Though if I call a series a favorite it's because I enjoy rereading it. Most series are one and done.

I almost always reread after a few months/years. Although for midnight secretary, I read it twice in a row with no time gap at all, and a third time a few weeks after that. I was really addicted for some reason.
