Hi, i've been reading manga/manwha for some time now and i've encountered a problem most of you probably are familiar with. I can't find any more good manga *horror!*.
I don't want to get flamed for making a recommendation thread, keep in mind i've spend hours and hours checking "Series Info", "Reviews", "Genres", "Series Stats", the shounen/seinen forum as well as checked other peoples lists...
I like mostly Action, fantasy and shounen/seinen stuff as you can see.
My top rates manga would be:
Berserk
Claymore
Chronicles of the cursed sword
Shin Angyo Onshi
Vampire Juuji Kai
Vinland Saga
I like these manga but wouldn't top rate them (some of them are close though):

Yeah but here's the thing then everyone can just write that this is a last resort for them in their own thread. The thing about rules is you can't discriminate either you allow none or you allow all. Allowing all would be mahem so you restrict all. Also if you read my post in the first quote I gave you another solution to your problem put it in your sig !
@daed It's not a matter of who it helps anymore it's a matter of confusion there are tons of threads out there reccommending manga and this is just pure laziness. Also I've never made a thread like this and I find all the new manga I need seriuosly do some digging before you say this is your last resort it is not . You are just using that as an excuse for laziness. And most of these posters don't have posts elsewhere cause they haven't even looked elsewhere. I think bully mentioned some threads that had manga reccommendations as well in mamsmilk's thread. I'm not being mean i'm being realistic. Suppose everyone decides to make one of these now. You'll have hundreds of these threads

true if everybody goes up and posts something like this, it would get a little annoying to shuffle through, so why not push for a new section for it. the forums are about conversation and who's never had a conversation with a recommendation it

For the last time: I'm not lazy, i have been digging.
I hate to break it to you, but could you take this argument somewhere else? If you're going to argue, at least recommend some manga before you do. Else you can just create a new "I hate recommendation threads" thread.

Excuse me ? You are not lazy? I gave you my reccommendation put a request for reccomendation and a link to your list in your SIGNATURE . that is my reccomendation. You may have started this thread but you certainly don't control my right to criticize it . I'll say what I like . These threads need to be stopped now or they'll keep appearing. My tip is to check out other ppls lists...I checked yours....78 in the reading list...Nothing special...Check the active peoples lists for suggestions. If everybody would recommend manga in a thread the database would be useless...And dont come saying youve been digging, hehh, not seriously atleast. To continiue my stream of thought...go to genre search...pick some good genre/s, seinen that is!, exclude hentai, yuri, yaoi, all other wierd genres and check the show only completed mangas...then order by rating when getting results...then you should have atleast some 50 good completed series (not in seinen though, maybe 10 or some more) which are long
but im nice and will actually give some tips even though there is a bazillion other threads that has recommendations....for example: top seinen, top whatever blalbalblabl.......sanctuary...bokko, emma, planetes, Today In Class 5-2, Ai-Ren, Jiraishin, Tokyo Crazy Paradise, Monster, 20thcb...no offense(actually i mean it) but you suck man....you havent even checked out the fregging top 20mangas of alltime....
Hehhehe and goog luck with your search...i remeber when i was n00b too...^_^

Go and search the forums. It's all in there enough to last a life time. heh im gonna go offtopic now....yeah ive noticed...but ive come to my conlusion that ppl are *takes a deep breath*lazy wannabe hardcore mangareaders that actually only reads shounen and doesnt know anything else to recommend and therefore leaves my recommendations out*sigh*
ah and i like leeching so i recommend stuff...and read Team medical dragoon, slamdunk and emerald too...while im at it..They, Too, Love and salad days too...

Actually... I proposed that this kind of threads be automatically locked. But I don't exactly think that the others agree though. Until then I'm not locking any.
But let me get some points through:

Second, I can believe that you searched hard rillel, but you forgot one thing. You didn't search the forums before making this thread. We already have enough recommendation threads for every kind of flavor possible. Shoujo, Shounen, Seinen, Josei, funny manga, and even incest... If you're starting a thread about something that hasn't been done before you're welcome. Otherwise just check those threads. And threads with just recommend stuff to me without more explanation are not really relevant imo.
