This week's poll was suggested by Nekomikoto. It's kind of wordy, but oh well. The poll is specifically about words from the scanlators that are customized on each release, excluding the normal credits and recruitment page. The example Nekomikoto gave is for the scanlations of Haritoge Kuremi to Ou no Ie by Boredom Society Scanlations.

You can submit poll ideas here
http://www.mangaupdates.com/showtopic.php?tid=3903

Previous Poll Results:
Question: Who knows about your love of manga?
Choices:
Anyone who knows me - votes: 667 (16.8%)
I don't love manga - votes: 135 (3.4%)
A few close family members and/or friends - votes: 1435 (36.2%)
Most of my family and friends - votes: 1019 (25.7%)
Only me - votes: 624 (15.8%)
My significant other - votes: 79 (2%)
There were 3959 total votes.
The poll ended: April 20th 2019

135 people are trolls. Why are you here then?

More often than not I'd read them, so I guess "sometimes" is the right answer for me mmm...

I sometimes read them but never responded. The best one I ever read was attached to the ending of Ashita no Joe and was mostly about analyzing the manga and the unused ending.

The most interesting ones I've read are those in Liar Game. The translators took the time to explain some of the games or give some other useful information to enjoy the reading more.

I never respond to them, but I always read them. They can be entertaining sometimes, but most importantly, they sometimes put news related to the project. I don't follow translators so much as the manga they translate, so its probably the only way I'm kept in the loop. At the best of times, its good news, like new recruits or an announcements of the anime adaptation. At the worst of time, at least I get to know if that chapter will be the last one the group does.

I picked sometimes along with the apparent majority.

The more it looks like a credits page or a recruitment page, the less likely I am to read it. If it's tacked onto the end of a credits page I'll definitely miss it.

As for the previous poll, I assume most of those "don't love manga" people are either trolls like you said, but it's possible that some of them seriously thought to themselves, "I don't think this feeling is strong enough to be considered love, [I'm only here for one series] or [I'm only starting to develop this interest]"

Warn: Banned

I do take the time to read the TL note pages because there are some interesting comments or information posted on them.

You would be surprised. There actually is a community of individuals on the internet that only like things "ironically". And, they've existed for years.

Yeah should've separated the "read" and "response". A good majority read but very few respond.

I respond if I have any opinions on it. Really what's stopping me from doing it more often is the comments from people who don't read the page. A simple example would be back when I was reading a battle manhua, they literally asked "Do you like slow buildups or overpowered MCs? Love to know in the comments" so I gave my opinion, which was more critical of shounen tropes than the average fan would be. Then some jackass who didn't even have the balls to at me told me to shut up and just enjoy the manga. It actually really put a damper on my enjoyment of the manga, even though it wasn't the scanlator or the author's fault

Sometimes I read it... if it is some recruitment and whatnot I usually don't read it (well I was part of Scanlation team for couple of years, so I suppose sometimes I do read even that). But if it is some notes about the chapter or the translation (like some Japanese cultural things explained for example) then I probably will read that.

I read some of them. Depends on if I have time, if I find the group to be funny, etc.

I have responded to a few calls for helping hands (like 5-ish) but I have commitment issues... I help for like 2-3 chapters then I drop off the face of the earth never to be seen again. Or I get kicked from the group cause I only use GIMP... Or the group merges with another group and I don't follow the merge... Or the leader disappears and no one else has access to the finished products...

Hmmm.... maybe they are here just for the "non" Manga? Novel or something?
