Let´s see. The "new law" is 3 to 4 months old so the logic that the site had to close now is nonsense. Aside from the fact that 2019´s European Union Directive on Copyright in the Digital Single Market has nothing to do with child porn. The admin went on to equally blame the shutdown on an injury, which is even more eyebrow-raising. I would call him a crook but that´s a bit redundant with a pirate. Someone more importantly managed to back up the whole server already. All 45 TB that is. We will see where the Chads decide to move the content next. I suggest Vietnam and total site redesign. Even MU is more modern that their dated.... everything.
Regardless of what happens. Whoever decided to house Terabytes of copyrighted content on a server in the EU deserves to be jailed for having no brain. The police raid on The Pirate Bay was a decade ago after all.

In conclusion. HBO somehow ended up reporting on this but nothing of note happened in the end. A site with an Alexa rank of 625 (E-hentai that is) is bulletproof due to millions of international viewers a month and the pr0n wasn´t going anywhere anyway as we are talking about a date aggregation site. Those die and go through resurrections on a daily basis. This one was fast though. I´m kinda impressed actually. Those Chads could have saved the Library of Alexandria itself if it happened to house their child porn!

PS: I saw a screencap of the admin outing himself as a pedo (surprise?). He´ll end up in jail for real if he continues to give out information like candy to the local police. As the country of origin for his servers!

Update: looks like Kiwifarms took part in the demise of Sadpanda. The story is that KF has been trying to demolish a different site called "Allthefallen". How this effected Sadpanda is that it and ATF were hosted on the same server, and Sadpanda got taken out in the cross-fire.

Remember when this nonsense wasn´t just on this site but was also covered by others (like Vice). The usual idiots cried about their free peaches and mah civil rights TM 😕 . Despite the fact that we knew why the owner of the site got cold feet due to hosting sketchy as fuck loli and shota porn. Those are likely illegal in your country, so just a heads up.

I randomly saw that reports of the death of this e-hentai subsection have been greatly exaggerated. I don´t know or care when exactly it came back but it did and you can see in my post above that I point out that there is no way that the site could actually die. We didn't even get a followup site or more than one. The old one just came back and goes on without changes.
Not that anything could have been lost as this picture host doesn´t truly produce original content. Web piracy or porn can´t die, it never does.

Don´t resurrect this nonsense topic or anything. Just take away the wisdom that such non-issues don´t deserve your time.
