What is the best way to translate a dialect or accent of the original language that is not the norm (e.g., Kansai-ben)?
Different country's English accent (e.g., Irish or Australian)
Different American regional accent (e.g., Southern)
Have the character use different slang (e.g., 'pops' instead of 'dad')
Minor speech pattern differences (e.g., dropping the 'g' in '-ing' words)
No difference in translation but have a translation note

[spoiler] a manga about a boy who I think killed people and collected something I think he had some like pumpkin or cat or lantern possessed thing with him and there was this older guy who would visit him it reminded me of holloween when I read it I think sorry if its vague

I don't think that's it either I think it was all mostly based in one town and I remember this one part where the older guy who showed up occasionally caught him I think it may be a dropped manga and isn't that long
