I'm a fujoshi... and I have a bit of a non-sexual fujoshi fetish. I love them. Everything about them. If there's ever a character in a manga that's as bl obsessed as I am, I'll immediately love her.
So I'm wondering if there are any manga with main characters that happen to be fujoshi, like Fujoshi Rumi and Fujoshi Kanojo. Points if the boys she obsesses over turn out to actually be into each other. I'd prefer it if there wasn't too much ecchi (like Fujoshi Rumi) and if it's a shoujo or josei (like Fujoshi Kanojo).

Doing a manga search for the word "fujoshi" doesn't produce many results, so you could read through them quickly. I found:
Fudanshism - Fudanshi Shugi
Tonari no 801-chan (and its sequel)
Akiba Roumansu! (ecchi though)

From a bumper sticker I like:
"If you're gonna ride my ass, at least pull my hair."

Pssht, silly mislabeling. That's clearly not ecchi-in-your-face, which Ecchi usually is. Subtle Ecchi doesn't exist! I've just reread the first chapter, and only spotted three inconspicious panty shots that are barely noticeable. ;; Chapter was 42 pages long. Hardly enough Ecchi to label it Ecchi.
Also, the fujoshi part doesn't even play a huge part in it. It's just a detail about her, some trivia.

I've read part of Fudanshism and it wasn't very good... =\
I might start reading it again, though. I didn't even get to the third chapter, so it might get better.

There are endearing fujoshi characters in Genshiken.

Banana Bread Pudding by Ooshima Yumiko. 1970s classic shoujo by one of 24-gumi, not yet scanlated into english unfortunately. Probably it's first manga ever created dealing with this theme. I guess those terms (fujoshi and bl) haven't existed when this manga first published. The protagonist wants to marry gay man and there is homosexual theme, so I guess it does count. I desperately want to see it scanlated or licensed, especially because it's often mentioned by prolific manga critics.

I think that's more like "fag hag", not fujoshi. No body would call the girl in the Object of My Affection a fujoshi.
I still think Mousou Shoujo Otakukei should be labeled ecchi. The last time I read it, I found it annoying and obvious.
I would call the case of the World God Only Knows hardly noticeable (there are panty shots and naked girl in bath but it's quite different).
I Second Pushu~ke~!! Psyche!. It's funny.

If that was a reference to me, then I want to make it clear that I was referring to Akiba Romance.

It currently is labeled as such, and I agree with this. The first chapter was fantastic, shoujo-ish, and a realistic depiction of a perverted girl that seemed like it was made for equally perverted girls. It just went downhill from there, though. Pretty soon we were having naked fake sex scenes. The creator is exclusively a hentai artist other than that one series, after all... ^^;
Fujoshi Kanojo is great, though. One of my favorite series right now. Thanks for the suggestions, too. ^^

She's not the main character, but there's a funny, significant fujoshi in Lucky-kun - and the boys she ships do get together.
There have also been a couple oneshots on the theme recently scanlated:
Onward! Maiden Road and Soft-boiled Fujoshi. Both are hilarious, but they're also both a little ecchi - and the latter girl seems to draw yuri doujinshi, not BL.

It's funny how you people like yaoi but complain about ecchi while ecchi is the "normal" between the two lol

Haha, you're right, bumper.
As for the dead thread, the only manga where I read the term 'fujoshi' ('rotten girl') was Minamoto-Kun Monogatari.
