I’ve been thinking about a certain quote that goes along the lines of “Sometimes it doesn’t matter what was said, but who said it.”

I think the protagonist or person in question had a friend that consulted them about something, but they weren’t sure what to say. Someone else later says this quote, saying that their friend probably just wanted to hear from them. I thought it was a interesting quote and idea, so it left an impression on me.

I’m not certain, but I vaguely remember it being from a fairly popular shounen manga since there were action scenes.
