@Transdude1996 So what you're saying, is that old ONLINE video games are unplayable?

2/6 titles I listed by name are singleplayer only; 4/6 games (Technically five since previous versions of PSO were playable offline) I listed by named can be played completely offline, but require an online connection in order to be activated and further operate without an online connection.

this, are not video games, but rather computer games

A video game IS NOT a video game? Are you fucking retarded?

7 / 93 at the moment, I would have thought more folks would pick beautiful, but no worries!

Depends, but in general, I agree with nature:

Women - form. Men - function.

... It's my way of saying that the poll is ridiculous. I'm being facetious. Maybe. I forget.

Clothes: it ought to be both

I mean, use clothes as the perfect example. The question is about "more" important, not which is important at all. If you're too indecisive to say whether it's more important for clothing to be practical or beautiful then I guess don't vote, but I can assure you that I and every other person who chose "practical" would confidently assert that it's *more* important for clothing to be practical than beautiful.

I mean, let’s be real. Humans choose items for both. I got a beautiful couch, but it’s got storage space, and turns into a bed, and it’s extremely comfortable. Beauty and practicality in one! My lamps, coffee table, the tv stand, etc. Now items are graded on design (beauty) as well is practicality.

I'm surprised how many people here say with absolute surety you will still want something beautiful while mainly being practical. I mean the bag I carried through four years of high school was not aesthetically pleasing at all and I was the one that picked it. The material it was made from was pure leather so it was very durable so I was completely being practical when I picked it.

That's still a small subset of video and computer games. Hence making your statement ridiculously wrong. A more specific statement, specifying that subsection, as unplayable, would have been fine ...but "video games"? Hell no. I'm perfectly able to play old NES games, e.g.
Even the original pong can still be played.

A video game is played on a TV, using a console.
A computer game, is a game on a computer. (granted, you can connect a computer to a TV, but that's beside the point)
You're too stupid to get that, and you have the gall to call someone else a retard?

Because I listed off video games that I actually play and that I know of off the top of my head. Ross' video, that I linked early, listed off several hundred video games.

Yeah, you can, if people have maintained those jury-rigged television sets from almost 50 years ago.

Definition of video game
: an electronic game in which players control images on a video screen

And, for all intent and purposes, that is the agreed upon definition.

A few questions:
1. Why are you trying to start a fight over this, to where you're even trying to redefine what a "vidya geimu" is?
2. How old are you?
3. Are you one of the idiots bitch about how Sony is porting their video games to PC because now it doesn't make them a "reel vidya geimu" anymore?

What is this "discussion" even...? Don´t respond to bait or even read it and normal conversations may one day return to this site. One day. Discourse rules further exist even if they seem to be off in this topic.

Did you know that Resident Evil Outbreak 1&2 can still be played online on the PC despite them being PS2 exclusives with dead servers? PC gaming finds a way.

@Transdude1996 "several hundred" is still a very small subset. Not computer/video games, as a whole.

A "video screen". Or TV as it's generally called. Notably different to a computer monitor.

You're fighting. I am not.
You're trying to redefine. I am stating the actual definitions.
