Hi, I just wanted to ask a question because of as can as I see ANN has only Japanese anime (Quick Note: I have not look totally, but I could not find many things. I just found some webtoon adaptation as instance The God of High School , Noblesse , Tower of God.) Anyways I have just watched Quanzhi Gaoshou as Chinese anime and Noblesse as Korean.

1st: Death Note

If I remember correctly those were produced quite recently and are about 'trending' and ongoing series I think we might have to wait a bit the see the impact on the industry .

Most american cartoons from the 90's +- were drawn in Korea ,(I even remember various 'The Simpsons ' chapters bringing out that topic) .After that I think there were some problems/failed projects and they declined quite a bit until 'recently'.

And Chinese animation has to pass censure ,so a big part of them don't see the light , stay as projects or are changed to suit the censure .This results in the loss/distortion of much media, not only animation.
( and axing most Chinese novels I like😢)

Apparently there are quite a few based on Chinese novels I like ,but until I googled them I didn't even know they existed.Maybe they aren't dubbed?.

I also use to see a Chinese 'anime' but after I forgot the name, it was imposible for me to find it again😢 .I bet this also discourages people from watching all of these less known animations.

ANN barely covers non-Japanese animation from Asia for the same reason The Last Airbend isn´t covered or why you can´t give a rating to Castlevania. As seen here:

None of these are anime by definition. Things obviously get murkier with co-productions. Transformers Prime can´t be rated either but the IP came from Japan and Polygon animated it. It´s half an anime. Castlevania is 0% anime.
Most of us have seen Korean animation. Avatar, Castlevania, a ton of WB animation, classic Simpsons but that is contract work. Avatar is mostly unknown in Asia for example and good Chinese or Korean animated shows or films that were done for the domestic market are hard to come by. Vietnam has further become a popular place for (in-between) animation.
But we will always have that Karl Marx animated mini-series from China, won´t we...

Thanks for this man..I kind want to explore different styles of animation aside from japan, I feel like there are a lot of good anime or animation that every country has to offer. Will check this out thank youuu!

I've seen a couple of movies/shorts that are Korean or Chinese animation and I've enjoyed them! Netflix (at least where I am) tends to have some. If anyone knows of any good sites to discover more of them, that would really help. I really like watching media from around the world, seeing different artistic influences, etc.

Is there a list of these anime somewhere?
