Just to note, the booth I'm working at is in aisle 400, near the Funimation booth (which is right next to the main doors). All other directions (in the first post) still apply

Wow, you guys all fail. I met like 25 people from my high school and college, around 5 people from one of my old scanlation groups, and NO ONE from MangaUpdates. And of those 3 groups, I only gave explicit directions on how to find me to the MU people...

*sigh*
No words to describe my disappointment with this community...

My condolences, lamb-chan.

I probably would have visited if the Anime Expo wasn't (nearly) half across the world from where I am. bigrazz

Man, I just got back from the Expo, and it was not as fun as it was last year. I couldn't even keep my eyes open when I attended some of the lessons they were giving regarding drawing manga, and I was on a tight budget, so I couldn't spend as much as I did before.Though it was my first time attending day 0, the rest of the days was kinda okay. I even took a lot of photos than last time.

Coming home was a pain: My dad had to pick me up from my grandparent's house(I stayed there since their house was close to the convention), and I was delayed for work purposes. Oh, and his car got rear-ended(I was in front) while taking the freeway.

I decided against going even though I wanted to volunteer. I just didn't want to cough on people, even now I've doubled over a couple of times from their force. Luckily my sister and nephew were able to go... but guess she decided not come over and say hi for me.

Wear a sign that says "lambchops" on it next time! O_O Not explicit enough...>.> But I wouldn't have presented myself anyway. Only few people know how I look like here, would like to keep my numbers small. ._. Just wanted to pass by and take a souvenir. laugh

But I have to fully agree with brid. This was my first con ever, and I guess it was overwhelming...just not in the best of ways. Didn't really know what I was doing there. I don't cosplay, not that into anime, and didn't enter any contests. It was okay though. Had a good time, and bought me some stuff. +__+ Just don't think AX should be the first con you ever go to, and if it is, again like brid said, take companions with you. O_O~

I went with my aunt and she had more fun than me. <.< It even got her into anime now. She just started bad...she bought yaoi lol. >.>

sorry about not stopping by but it's kinda awkward to just walk up and say hi to someone you've never met... plus i was watching two kids (yeah, i know 15 is old enough for them to take care of themselves and that i'm just barely older than them but still, their parents would kill me if they found out i let them near yaoi and hentai...) and leaving them alone could possibly get me injured...plus i'm not found of yaoi, yuri or hentai myself...although i might have seen you...maybe next year i'll say hi... smile wink grin

heheh yeah. I didn't know who to approach. Also I was with my group of friends so we were busy running around. Sorry. Maybe next year. Again, I'll problably go since I live nearby.

I am going to Comic-Con instead but, I think I should have went to Anime Expo because it is closer to this depressing city called Lancaster.

I am pretty sure I will be going next year Lambs. I am working with one of my friend's shops a lot more now. I don't know if you know Anime Remix, but that is who I work with usually. They were there this year too. If I go next year I will be working there and hope to meet some people from MU.

I tried really hard!

First time I came by (in between line waiting) I asked the people at the booth they were like "eehh, don't know who or what you are talking about". So I reconfirmed the information on your post, yeah i didn't have it wrong. Then I was like ok maybe I will give it one more try. The second time I came by I finally got someone who knew about you and was like, "oh, yeah he was talking to me about that site today, but yeah he's on break..."

So I struck out big time, but it wasn't for lack of trying.

Meh, fine, I don't blame you...And the whole time I was working, I only had 2 breaks, so I guess you just got unlucky
