Seriously. The only difference is the direction in which you read it.

Anyone who's read them think the same?

Well.... I feel bad no one responded... They have each a unique character. But I don't much care for either --- They just don't appeal to me. I generally agree, they share quality that I really dislike.

oh you think so.
i like them both.
i think they have good quality as a fighting manga. veritas is korean
so i was very proud to see the good quality. korea seems to be really stepping up.

but in tenjo tenge doesn't souchirou have like an inner demon.
and veritas they have that thing i forgot what its abbreviated as.
but they both have such a fun feel to them

they do resemble each other but veritas has a much less confusing plot to it and i personally like the main character of veritas better but i like more of the side character is tenjho tenge

I truly do sense the endeavour
to suck in the same way in both of them.
Tits.
HS.
Kids on roids.
Fights.

they are similar in some aspects, i haven't read very far in tenjho tenge, but the later bits in tenjoh tenge seem to be really retarded

i think veritas might be a bit better, but that's like saying you'd rather have syphilis than gonorrhrea, neither are very good...

They're similar in respect to people having special martial arts specific to the family history or which path you choose, as in people have special abilities that they only know since it's taught to only them. Thats the only similarity that I see. I like Veritas a lot, I dislike Tenjo Tenge... very very much. Almost hate it.

Tenjo Tenge just has too much going on, I don't like how many characters in it and most of those characters have personalities that I annoy me - and I completely hate the main character. In Veritas the main character can be rather crude and annoying at times, however he matures little by little and he's starting to get more control of his power so the series has been getting better.

Not sure why you feel that the two are similar, but I have series that I compare that most others don't agree with. So it's all personal opinion.

Over the first 50 chapters of Tenjho Tenge, the plot is not confusing, really.

Ok, and what is that similar quality? oh, the subjectivity of art

Ok, I didn't mean to say they were identical (yes I did), but they are extremely similar in these respects:

Tits
High School
Kids on Roids
Fights.

But that's not all. They have very similar events and themes, and literary devices.

yeah the first 50 chapter are ok, but then its like "where the hell does this manga wanna go." plus the fact chapters are released like 4 times a year.

the only similarity these two manga have are the ki based martial arts and that there's hot chicks, but their as different as night and day.

Tenjou Tenge gets confusing as hell as it goes on though, i was reading this thing and eventually i had no idea what the hell was going on, the author must be smoking some serous shit man.

Anyway, he biggest difference is that Veritas is character driven, tenjou Tenge isnt, what i mean by that is that in Veritas we are essentially looking at what these characters go through, their history and so forth. The scope of the manga right now is how big or small the characters can make it.

In Tenjou Tenge the characters are all players in a giant scheme of things that we are trying to understand in its entirety (and its almost impossible). The characters are almost irrelevant at times to how big and deep the who situation is.

Also, Veritas doesn't take place in a Highschool, its more of a super human training facility that's disguised as a boarding school so the public doesn't catch wind of whats actually going on, but really there's only to people that actually go to school (Gangryong and Honse) due to various circumstances.

Veritas = Tenjou Tenge = The Breaker.

I don't like any of them.
I've said it somewhere before, but I can't stand politics of martial arts...

It ruins it for me.

not true, besides the fact that there's fighting and hot girls, they aren't alike at all.

I dislike the art bigrazz (actually this doesn't bother me much but...), "plot" and characters.
Specifically this:

Fights.
