So, I want to add the chapters to the manga I've read to keep track of the chapters I've read.
The problem, however is that there is no textbox to easily edit what I've read. It is either not there or I can't find it.
This was done with MAL and I like the feature. I would like the same feature be done in MU.

Uh, if you go to your lists and then hit "edit" next to the chapter numbers, you can easily edit both volume and chapter numbers.

Hi, thank you for trying to help. However, I am having problems with what you are saying.
You say to hit edit.
I went to my reading list, ctrl+f 'edit', and there was no result for edit anywhere.
Can you screenshot where the edit button is suppose to be?

@goruu: in your reading list you see the "your status" part in different color.
On the right of the manga you wish to edit and in front part in this field you see "edit" written in a topdown arrangement.
Click on the word edit and the fields v and ch are enabled to edit.
Confirm your edit with the arrow icon on the right of the ch entry (return sometimes doesn't work).
Be aware: it's a javascript so if you have a scriptblocker (eg ublock) please disable the blocker temporarily.

wtf, I've literally been clicking my way through binge-reads for 2 years now and I never saw the edit button. You just blew my mind, thanks for this.

Thanks for the screenshot. However, I can't find anything like this at all. I used my main browser, Firefox, disabled ublock origins and still couldn't find the edit button.
So I used other browsers such as Chrome, Internet Edge, Opera and it looked exactly the same on my image. These browser do not have any extension much less a scriptblocker that I am aware of.

You're looking at the public-facing link for your lists that anyone can see, not the user-specific version that you can change. Click on the "My Lists" link in the sidebar on the right when you want to edit them.

Other folks have already answered this, but here's the direct link to your My Lists option anyhow. I'd also just like to point out that the edit button is an image and not text, so a ctrl+f search for edit won't bring up anything, but it's easily visible once you click into your lists anyway.
But, uh, also public lists are turned off by default, so you must've been into your lists in order to toggle that option on before...
