Hi, I'm niki and I discovered Baka-Updates manga because I was looking for information on several mangaka -- beyond what's written on the blurbs of official releases. I stayed because of the D-Grayman manga poll. Seriously. ^^ (I'm thoroughly enamored with Yu Kanda and Allen just plain enchants me.)
I love manga - especially shoujo. My fix is mainly fed by the official English and Indonesian translations. My favorites include HanaKimi, Ouran, Gakuen Alice, Kiss Zekkou Kiss, ad infinitum. I'm partial to the Hakusensha manga "house" style.
I'm enjoying my stay here muchness, in case that hasn't come thru yet ^^

i stumbled across baka updates really strangely,i'm used to going in and in within sites looking for scanlations or just pure good anime images and when i opened this site,i had a really strange feeling i was going to like it here.
i just love the fact i can express my opinions on certain mangas without getting any back-lash.
also i love the whole 'wish list' or 'completed list',it helps me a lot since i need to know where i am and what i'm reading.
i've actually read manga over and over again without realising it 0.0
Anyway,I plan to be a regular member on here.
