Wait, do you mean another cockfighting series, or a series of super-powered catfights?

Saw someone recommending Isekai Monster Breeder a while ago. Shiozaki Yuji has done a few female gladiator type of stories, most famous of which is Ikkitousen. If you haven't read the original Digimon Adventure V-Tamer 01 series, I highly recommend that.

Sounds like Aquarian Age. It's an old card game that's discontinued by Broccoli, with five factions of people (mostly women) with supernatural powers vying for supremacy, and certain people (mostly men) with the ability to awaken powers on others, or strengthen, weaken or otherwise manipulate the powers of said people. There's an anime based on it where the guy doesn't know he's one of these "Mindbreakers" and that his music is triggering tons of girls to awaken, and a movie centered on a group of girls fighting a Mindbreaker from another realm, and a manga centered on a girl who awakened as a Mindbreaker.

The manga/light novel Maou na Ore to Fushihime no Yubiwa also fits fairly well. While gender might not matter to you, you're more likely to get series where girls are the main or only option. Mon-type stories are typically action-type, and those tend to be more in the male demographic. Even among the female demographic cute girls are very popular and if you're aiming for boys it's all the more so, and since the mons are likely to outnumber the normal people it only stands to figure that these sorts of stories will aim to have girls as their mons. Heck, there are "Borderline-H" stories where the guy not only has female human mons but also has relations with them (cleanest of those is Shinmai Maou no Keiyakusha, which gradually becomes somewhat like this but with the guy fighting alongside them).

Oh thank you and yes I guess you're right but it's kind of a shame though and thank you for your recommendations 🙂
