Of course we all love Manga and Anime, that's why we're here right? Does anyone love a particular series or character enough to get one tattoo'ed on your body?

Anybody got one (or two,or three)?
Anybody been wanting one, but not old enuf or too scared of the needles?
Know anyone who has one?
Any reasons for your pick?

I have one of Akuma from street fighter on my tummy. It hurt.

Sorry. Haven't ever thought about having an anime/manga tattoo. However - wishful thinking - if I ever did get one, it would be a sitting egyptian-style cat with a white-tipped tail (because one of my cats has that) with feathered wings outstretched and the earth in its paws or at the base of its feet. It would have to be colorful! It would be centered on my back with the wings going across my shoulder-blades.
So this reply isn't quite on topic, sorry!
Btw, I like watching Miami Ink!

I've been wanting a one feather tattoo on my right shoulders since I was 14 years old. I think this was when I first saw Escaflowne and was inspired with the whole winged angel thing. I'm turning 18 soon and hopefully by then I'll be ready to get it...maybe if I don't chicken out first! I have a lot of friends who have Kanjis as their tattoos. They like simple words like "Love" and "Mountain" and "Dragon". Weird. smile wink grin

I'd love to get a tattoo of "love" in Japanese, but then people might say something about Gaara, so that idea's out the window T.T

Other than that, I really have no idea what I'd get...

Merlerna's post made me think of getting a tattoo of Sakura's feathers from Tsubasa smile They would look really awesome biggrin

i fell in love with the idea of flying ad especially angel wings. I got the idea from archangel of x-men. Im still toying with the idea of getting a pair on my back, what pose, the size etc.

from comics, not technically manganime

No tattoos here... I know of people who have Kanji symbols tattooed as well, but nothing related to anime/manga in particular.

It's not really manga related but I had just found the perfect dragon design that I was going to have tattooed between my shoulder blades when I met my husband. I just needed to save up to get it done (I was still a student at the time). I'm still trying to convince him that it would be beautiful. Of course it's my own body so I could do it anyway, but I'd rather he agree.
Plus I prefer waiting for the tatto fashion to die down, I hate being fashionable. dead

I'm not scarred of needles, but i'm affraid of decision with no turning back.
Do you know how ugly a tatoo looks on the skin of a 70 year old? I don't want to look like that when i get old.
Anyway if i ever was to have a tatoo made it will have to be a dragon. But it seems i'm not original enough. Everybody thinks the same. Well other that the dragon a scorpion or a tiger would look cool. But that isn't really manga related.

Hahaha, that's exactly what holds me back from getting a tattoo! laugh There's one I'd really like to get (not going to describe it, sorry bigrazz ) but I plan to live to be a reallllly old lady, and the thought of what it'll look like then....not good....

haha, i know what you mean, but you only live once you know. If its something youd really love to get, its an easy decision. or you can just get drunk enough and the decision is really easy....

A friend of mine got his first tat a few months ago of marylyn manson's head hanging from a microphone cord on his arm. talk about something to regret.

I think if i did get a tattoo, it would be something like a pair of angel wings wrapped round my body, though i can think of a few anime inspired things to get done, but i dont really feel the need/will to get a tattoo right now. And when you reach your 80s? how many people are going to be seing your body xD Would it really be that embarrasing? (well in most cases ;P ) would be more like something to uhhh.... laugh about.
