So DGM has a new chapter with lots of new development.



So I think this chapter is quite good, it answered some questions and a lot of new mysteries '-__- For me it was just too much information for one big chapter! But I can't wait for the next ones to come

What are your thoughts about this chapter?

I agree with you on the 'a lot of information' part.
Seeing all the noah together was cool and i liked the chapter (and i was quite happy with the fact that we had another chapter at all), but i disliked the chamge of artstyle, it made it all seem a bit chaotic...
And it made allen seem less hot

But all in all, I liked it a lot
(and I have to admit tykki looks so HOT with long hair!!!!!!!!!!!!)

i dunno, i found it too have too much info to absorb like you said, and the art has changed so that the characters look too different than their original image to the point where the only way i could tell it was allan was because of the eye thing. but even though the art changed, its still a cluttered style of art x.X
so basically i think the art changes were made in the wrong places, and there was a lot of info to process, and together it just makes it really confusing x.x

yeah, everything kicking off, but I was expecting the 3rd Exorcists to be messing with Allen much more. And the art is too confusing to work out what happened in a lot of panels. There's a lot to be said for the 'so crowded that for a minute you can't work out whose limbs ended up where' art style, it works brilliantly for things with more organic less shiny art like Berserk, but here it's just annoying.
But hey, it's nowhere near as confusing as Trigun got..

The character designs being unrecognisable thing was less of a problem, I guess Allen's face is supposed to be changing anyway, and meanwhile the author has run out of hairstyles to give people with the same face, and has a lot of assistants helping her get this one chapter out to keep people reading her manga, so this was bound to happen..

I know the author has been ill a lot recently, but a lot of this chapter comes over like a dream that you have when you're ill with a bad fever, which is great while you're experiencing it but makes no sense at all later.. It really sums up how not to run the kind of story where there is lots of stuff going at different places at the same time..

So what? thats the Millenium Earl's real face at the end, with some kind of Road-Camelot doll on his shoulder? or some other Noah? looks just like a standard Tykki Mikk with stubble clone to me.
But yay! new chapter! must not complain...
And the 14th is still beautifully unsettling when it turns up.
hopefully new revelations in December.

Eh... Art's fine. I liked the old look better, but it does look higher quality. I mean I'll get used to it easily enough. Cool chapter, lots of stuff happening. We learned about the eary and scary Third Exorcists so that was nifty.

I prefer monthly manga so I'm cool with the change, but after that delay we're getting another break since it's move isn't happening until November. I hate when they tease us like that.

The story is becoming pretty dark; not sure what I think of this, the entire new manga held a more mature feel. The twists and turns are leaving me a little confused...but the fast pace gets things done... (by the way I WANNA SEE MORE OF LAVI)

I like monthly manga better than weekly, so I'm good with the move. Monthly manga is higher quality and it doesn't take 10 chapters to finish 1 fight scene.

Eh... I'm a little disappointed by the art, it's amazing and Hoshino-sensei is really skillful, but I just adored her style before, I miss it. Allen's not all kawaii anymore, which is fine because he is indeed getting older, but he lost his whole look... everyone looks the same, they're even starting to have the same hair styles now, too! Bad news for us fans if we can't tell anyone apart! I really, really hope Hoshino-sensei will get her act together by the time it comes out again in November.
